"....." Anna, speechless, hung up. Didn't Jeremy talk about respecting her choices? Was this his way of showing respect?
Anna thought to herself, she had already made her intentions clear to Connor Osborne, she would never remarry him, even if the Old Madam had left her 30% of the shares, she remained unmoved.
However, when Connor called her the next morning, telling her he was waiting for her at the front of Civil Affairs Bureau, she realized that things were far more complicated than she imagined.
