Since Chris had said that, Connor Osborne felt that if he tried to force his way in to search for Anna, it would seem as though he didn't trust people, especially because Chris's tone was not inviting and he had not asked him in, making it awkward for Connor to barge in.
"I'll go wait for her at the school entrance," Connor found himself an excuse to leave.
"Then hurry up, and tell my sister when you see her that I've still saved her some meals," Chris instructed before turning and leaving Connor.
This convinced Connor that Anna really wasn't at home.
Connor drove to the university town and waited outside, he waited for over two hours, it was almost past 11 o'clock, but Anna still did not show up.
He was really anxious, although Anna had agreed to get the Marriage Certificate with him next Monday, he still worried about the possibility of her changing her mind overnight.
