"Then what time did you leave the Osborne home?" Jeremy Thompson asked worriedly.
"Evening, around 6 or 7 o'clock," Anna pondered and said.
"You left the Osborne home around 6 or 7, so why are you only getting home now?" Jeremy immediately got angry. If she had come home earlier, would he have needed to go looking for her?
"I went to Felicity Lambert's place," Anna truthfully said, glancing at Jeremy before turning and walking upstairs.
Jeremy clearly felt something was off with Anna, glanced at Chris Ainsworth's tightly shut door, then hastily followed Anna upstairs.
He caught up in the master bedroom, where Anna had already undone her bath towel and was changing into her nightgown. Seeing him enter, she didn't deliberately hide, merely turned her back to him and quickly pulled on her nightgown.
