Three days after Irene Clarins passed away, Anna Ainsworth went to the Rehabilitation Hospital to pick up Chris Ainsworth for his discharge.
She arrived early, a bit past seven in the morning, and had specially brought Chris breakfast.
But Chris got up earlier than she had anticipated; by the time she reached his ward, Chris had already packed all his daily necessities and clothes.
"Anna, did you come alone?" Chris glanced behind Anna, indeed not seeing Jeremy Thompson, who had presumably followed her inside.
"Yes," Anna responded without further explanation, simply placing the food container she was holding down and calling out to Chris, "Hurry up and wash your hands to come over for breakfast."
"Oh," Chris acknowledged and ran off to wash his hands. As he settled down on the sofa, he couldn't help but ask again, "Anna, did you and Brother Thompson have a fight?"
