In a swift movement, without wasting any second after he confirmed that his ears still worked properly and his shattered heart was mended upon the words he heard, Canillas took his feet out of his slippers and took the vacant space of Joanna's bed.
His enthusiastic movement caused the bed to shake. And with a broad smile on his bright face, Canillas fixed his body under the same blanket that Joanna used and without any hesitation, he slid his hand on Joanna's waist.
