When they almost arrived at Alenna Garden, as demanded, Joanna had set her feet back on the ground and walked with her hand in Canillas', who clasped her hand immediately, refusing to let go.
As they reached the entrance of the garden, Joanna was welcomed by a perplexing view that caused her to wonder what was going on when she was not there. A number of certain herbal plant seedlings, each of which was grown in a polybag, were being carried in the cart, seeming to be moved to the front yard of the house.
But it did not take a long time for Joanna to figure out whose work that was when she found her brother was there, directing some servants to do this and that to the plants. Then, what was left in her mind after figuring that out was another wonderment. What would her brother do with those plants? Would he bring them to the festival? If so, was it to be sold? Joanna frowned at the thought. Why would he sell those plants? Was he short of money?
