"Are you still thinking about the jokes Old Young made before he had the accident?" Sister Shaw chuckled, revealing the wrinkles at the corner of her eyes.
Seeing Jane's puzzled face, Sister Shaw explained, "Peter said that his Brother married a heavenly beauty. Old Young didn't believe it because he always thought that someone like James would never be able to get a wife in his lifetime. Old Young said he'd have to see it with his own eyes to believe it."
Perhaps because it had been a long time since anyone had sat and talked with her about her husband, Sister Shaw let out a soft sigh when she mentioned her late husband in front of James and Jane, but she still managed a smile, "Old Young used to say James was a thousand-year-old rotten wood, so decayed that it was hollow and even the termites were gone."
Jane burst out laughing and secretly glanced at James, her eyes brimming with teasing.
