"Drive." The man sat in the car, his tone unexpectedly turning somewhat cold. Norris was dragged along by him to sit at his side. He grabbed a blanket full of white fluffy fur to cover her with, then instructed the driver, "Go to the nearby Western restaurant."
Hearing his command, Norris was taken aback, lifting her head to look at him with a somewhat lost gaze.
The man, eyes closed, leaned back against the car seat. His complexion, under the dim light inside the car, showed a hint of stark exhaustion, as if troubled by something, the center of his brows unconsciously furrowed together.
His hand, which hung down, still held onto her fingers, palm cool and devoid of warmth. This man seemed truly made of ice.
His state caused her heart to tighten inexplicably.
Norris withdrew her gaze and turned to look out the window.
