Aidan Lucas caught Lulu and lifted her into his arms.
Even with the fury brewing inside him, he never intended to vent that anger on the three children.
Perhaps it was because he had experienced the pain of being denied and even despised by his biological father from a young age.
Moreover, these three children were actually his as well.
They shared the same bloodline with him.
"Lulu, you've gotten heavy," Aidan Lucas said as he picked up the chubby little thing and bounced her gently.
His tone carried a hint of jest, a stark contrast to the stern harshness he exuded outside.
"Eh, Lulu is not heavy. Lulu has been dieting recently. Last night, not seeing mother made Lulu so upset that she couldn't even eat dinner!"
Little Lulu cooed in Aidan Lucas's arms, circling his neck, and pushing about vigorously.
"Heh, indeed so upset that she didn't eat dinner. But during the late-night meal, she added an extra course and ate two more strawberry cakes."
