In the darkest part of Vienna, the point where not angels nor demons are able to enter. There resides the real gods, protecting the continent of Vienna from exo-gods.
But once, the entirity of Rio went extinct. The biggest and the greatest cause for it was the invasion of the Titans. A type of exo-species born directly from the world tree. Though all the gods were born from the world tree, due to some malfunctioning of the world tree one of its branches fell down thus being consumed by a group of wandering exo-gods, thus giving them enormous power.
Around 4000 years later;
Due to the extinction of the Gods by the Titans ,humanity would've already been obliterated. But due to the death of numerous number of gods the world tree decided to give humanity time to prepare in order to balance the power-loss.
4000 years it was, now all that of that given time left is 10 years. Humanity knowing it was nearing extinction decided to fight back, magic was almost 4000 times better than it was 4000 years ago. The world took rankings ,joined with angels, demons and even fallen gods, and even dominated those rankings.
All that was left was Gods, everyone knew it was impossible to win the upcoming war without the help of gods. Rio, which was the birth place for gods is now a GRAVEYARD for Gods. Because of the immense mana exerted by it no one was able to enter it. Still left as an unsolved mystery, it was one of the most dangerous places on earth and nicknamed 'REAPED' .
That was all past after he came, A seven year old human boy thrown away by his foster parents just because he had no future in cultivation of magic into the Dark forest where Rio is situated. He walked here and there knowing nothing about the forest eating, drinking and sleeping.
All until the fifth day when he saw a civilization. Even though he was a 7 year old child, he knew from his all experience in the forest where he has not seen anything like it that 'this place is Rio'.
He instantly ran away without looking back, as he heard the elders of his old family say that 'in Rio the dead gods hunt people to get then a living body'. He ran with all his 7 year old body could until he could run more. He felt breathless and could feel his heart pounding all around his body, and slowly felt his consciousness fading. 'THUD' he fall.......
