Ryoichi entered the portal and immediately the familiar Timestream came into his view. Ryoichi floated alongside the stream and followed the direction the device was giving.
But his movements suddenly came to a halt when the Natural energy of the Timestream started rushing in and got rapidly absorbed by his body.
Ryoichi frowned but didn't stop the energy from entering his body, instead, he crossed his legs and looked at what was happening inside his body. His frown loosened when he saw his newly mutated Chakra veins sucking the Time based Natural energy to complete its mutation.
But soon his frown returned even deeper as he saw the greenish veins and reservoir turned completely green to the point they looked toxic.
As if feeling his displeasure his massive spiritual energy spurned and started to forcefully change the colour of his reservoir and veins again.
Soon his Chakra reservoir and veins returned back to their original colour but with a sheen of gold in them. Ryoichi noticed his body stopped absorbing the Natural energy and immediately scanned the changes in his Kekkai Genkai. He felt his affinity with time and with it, space increased to an unimaginable degree. He felt his Kekkai Genkai strengthen considerably as well.
Once Ryoichi was done examining, he resumed his journey and soon enough reached his designated time point where the Time Machine opened another portal.
Ryoichi entered the portal and was hit by a strong shock from the other side. It was good that the portal was closed or else he would have flown straight back to the Timestream instead of the massive tree trunk.
Ryoichi came out of the hollowed tree and looked at the cause behind the shockwave. He saw a devasted forest with a massive crater, probably as big as the moon above which wasn't there when Ryoichi came first.
Ryoichi quickly spread out his Haki and spotted Aina's battered and unconscious body alongside other future teens. He then focused on the location where the shockwave originated and saw Hagoromo fighting with a half-human half-mechanical face man who Ryoichi knew was the Otsutsuki Cyborg from his hidden recording seal.
Not wasting any time as he could see tired Hagoromo barely holding while Hamura was on the brink of death.
Ryoichi quickly approached Aina and woke her up after healing her.
"Great Grandpa you're fine!" Aina shouted and tried to hug Ryoichi, but he avoided it.
Ignoring her annoyed face Ryoichi questioned. "What happened? Didn't you guys bring something to handle that guy? Why are you lying here while he's killing the Sage of Six Paths."
Aina's face turned red she replied in a whisper.
"It didn't work…"
"You mean that the tech you brought didn't work?"
"Yes. He already had a failsafe, probably developed it after getting caught by my father the first time"
"And what are you planning to do now?"
"…I don't know… we failed- no I failed… I was so confident in my plan that I didn't even consider failing or its consequences… my whole focus was on saving the world and becoming a hero like my father…" Aina said and broke down in tears as the suffocating consequences of her actions finally settled on her shoulders.
Ryoichi shook his head at her foolishness and started making his way towards the battle, completely ignoring her sobs.
'That's why I do not trust my safety with others.' He thought as he stealthily reached Hamura and started healing him. Once he was done healing him, Ryoichi crept behind the Cyborg and attacked him and to his surprise, the Cyborg managed to detect his attack.
It didn't take much to realise that the mechanical part of the Cyborg could somehow track his movements despite his perfect stealth.
'Probably an infrared detector or some other technological instrument.' Ryoichi noted as he jumped back and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Hagoromo.
He ignored the hybrid's question full gaze and spoke. "Let's take this guy down together, your brother will also be joining us soon."
Hearing him, Hagoromo looked back and saw his brothet healed up. He looked back at Ryoichi and nodded, suppressing his curiosity and doubt.
Hagoromo and Ryoichi looked back at the Cyborg who was also looking at them. Suddenly they all disappeared and appeared at some distance with their hands clashing with each other.
*BOOM* Immediately a huge shockwave followed their clash. And soon more followed as they continued to exchange blows.
Ryoichi and Hagorom attacked the Cyborg relentlessly without giving him any breath and as they fought more, Hagoromo and Ryoichi's teamwork started to get better. But despite all that, they were still on the losing side.
Ryoichi and Hagoromo suddenly jumped as a sharp, long golden light followed and hit the Cyborg.
The golden light was so compressed and fast that the Cyborg couldn't even react when it hit him. The light kept pushing him hundreds of kilometres even cleanly splitting multiple mountains in two.
Ryoichi who was still in mid-air recognised the attack and as if answering his question he saw Hamura approaching them with a green fiery Chakra surrounding him. His brilliant blue pupil contained the breathing pattern of the Tenseigan.
Ryoichi landed beside Hagoromo and waited for the wielder of the newly awakened Tenseigan.
"Brother! What happened to your eyes?" Hagoromo questioned when Hamura reached them.
"I don't know they turned like them." He answered.
'It seems multiple near-death experiences have accelerated Tenseigan's awakening processes.' Ryoichi concluded as Hamura looked at him and questioned.
"Brother who is this and how does he have Chakra?"
"Who I am is not important right now, but who that guy is? And his purpose?" Hamura snorted at Ryoichi's words.
"You think we're clueless about that guy's identity? No, we're not. We can already tell he's from our mother's clan and has come to finish her job"
Hamura's words made Ryoichi pause as he considered telling them his future identity, but his consideration came to a halt as Hagorom came to his rescue.
"Brothe, he's right. Now's not the time, we can question him later." Hagoromo's words had an immediate effect as Hamura backed, making Hagoromo continue.
"So, my unknown friend how do you suggest we take this Otsutsuki out?"
"I don't have a plan."
"Huh? You don't? Then do we also have to seal him like our mother?"
"No seals would not work… he has something that can counter them as I have tried to use seals during our short confrontation."
"Hey, you think my brother's seals can be compared to a human's, like yours." Hamura interrupted, making Hagoromo frown and reprimand him.
"I'm not doubting the power of your brother's Fuinjutsu but I'm just preventing him from wasting Chakra," Ryoichi replied to Hamura as he felt Aina approaching them.
Hamura tried to retort but one glare from his brother stopped him.
"So you want us to fight him head-on till one of us dies? If so It would be hard as Hamura and I have spent too much Chakra sealing our mother. We wouldn't last long, even with Hamura's new Doujutsu." Hagoromo questions while looking towards the southwest as he also felt Aina approaching them.
"Yes I'm aware of that and to be honest I'm not on my peak form as well, but we have no choice but to fight, or do you have any other trump cards hidden?"
"No, I don't but we need a plan."
"I have one." Said Aina as she finally reached them.
"Didn't that fail?" Ryoichi asked as he and the others looked at her.
Feeling the questioning gaze of three legends Aina faltered for a moment before collecting herself and speaking.
"No that plan failed but…" she paused and raised her hand as the Nano armour retreated, revealing her tattoed arm.
"I can self-destruct my Ulti-Matrix while putting it on single target mode. It will collapse the Spacetime around the target, sending him outside the Universe straight into the Void where nothing can survive." Aina explained, causing the Otsutsuki brothers to raise an eyebrow.
"Your plane is feasible but I'm sensing a but." Ryoichi asked making Aina nod.
"Yes… Ulti-Matrix doesn't have enough Chakra left and nor I or you three currently. We have to use the Cyborg as he has a Chakra reactor inside him that can generate infinite energy if given time. You guys have to force him to use more Jutsu or restrict him so I can absorb Chakra from him." Aina answered, making the three look at each other for a moment before Hagoromo spoke.
"We'll follow the young lady's plan as we don't have any better." He said.
Ryoichi thought for a while before he also agreed.
"Fine with me."
