Chapter 31 - Chapter 31 Meeting Between Two Mothers

Planet: Vahrian

Green Forst Village

Captain Price

.P.O.V.

The day was as bright as any other, captain price who was silently sleeping throughout the flight from alnus hill to this exact destination, a village, or what he and his colleagues thought was one.

But as he and the crew inside the chopper looked outside, they saw that the village like turned into a small town. However, it wasn't the natives who caught their attention, but that of their space faring counterpart.

"So what are they called again?" One soldier asked as he and group got up from their seats as they were preparing to disembark from the chopper.

"Unsc I believe." Replied one of price squadmate. "Words has it that they are slowly being spoken by people of this world as sky people, whereas we from the twenty first century are the people in green."

"Sky people. How come they get the cool names and we don't?" A Special force operative said in a quip while having to cover his eyes as the sun light hits them all after the sliding door open's.

"Well it's mainly because they come from space. As you've seen on the spartan known as five." Captain price says responding to his teamate.

"The spartan." The operative replied that he and his squad had already been informed by General Hazama and Kate Laswell about the Spartan, which was all thanks to Collin Graves feeding them information about Five's appearance in Arenian city. "I've heard from Collin that they are currently on some rescue mission to save some princess that was kidnapped."

"I Wonder why some knight in shining armor would want to do that?" The other member of the squad spoke in slight humor.

"That's because five is the type to act whether then doing it later." A Older man said greeting the rest of the twenty first century folks who all shook hands with the man.

"To whom might you be sir?" Kate laswell spoke as she stepped in between price and another operative and stood four feet away from the captain of eternity.

The old man unclasped his arms from his back and reaches forth to shake laswell own. "The names Danforth whitcomb, captain and lead commander of the eternity and it's crew. You all can just call me whitcomb."

Not shaking his hand yet for she was quite skeptical of the man and his group, Kate laswell evantually did so as she reached up and accepted the hand shake. "It is great honor to meet you captain whitcomb... Please allow me to introduce to you my own crew. These here to my left is captain price and his squadmate of operatives. Care to introduce yourselves ladies and gents."

Acknowledging his presence, one of price's teammates joined in on the handshake as she introduced herself first. "I'm Kathy kavron, part of the s.a.s squad of John's team. It's nice to know we aren't the only ones in this weird world sir!"

"John you said!" Whitcomb uttered in slight interest to the name as it sounded familiar to a certain super soldier he knew of.

"You sound like you seen a ghost when my name is spoken sir." Price added while shaking the captain's hand.

Whitcomb smiled in response to price's remark as he gave a reply. "Of course I do young man, it's just that your name is the same as that of a spartan I knew of... Please, would you all care to join me and lady Sandra here."

Kate laswell had noticed the ever so silent Sandra Lopez standing patiently besides captain Whitcomb and wondered who she was, and seeing the woman walking alongside them, laswell decided to introduced herself to the woman. "It is good to meet you ma'am. Forgive me for not greeting you earlier as I did not want to be rude."

Sandra chuckles as she didn't quite care whether the twenty first century woman was rude at all, as she herself had dealt with far worse then people with zero to no sense of respect or manner at all.

"Please, there is no need for you to be sorry at all Ms. Laswell. Besides, my children have gotten me through the point of having to straighten them out since their rude and rebellious ways." The somewhat amusing Sandra remarked as she and her group passed through the gate, while the remaining villagers and locals observed the newcomers.

"And I assume they're the ones next to you?" Las we'll says referring to Elizabeth and her siblings strolling besides Sandra.

"Correct. Please, meet Kevin Lopez, my son. And those other two are my daughters, Kathy and Elizabeth." Spoke Sandra as she let the kids introduced themselves.

"Pleased to meet you ma'am." Kevin greeted with a lighthearted smile.

"Hello Ms. Nice to meet you. Especially someone from the past... Sorry, I'm sort of a history girl myself." offered Kathy who only spoke in a slightly shy way for her hobbies.

"There's no problem with a young woman like you having history as your favorite. My partner herself is a history professor... And you sir?" Laswell asked glancing over to one other brother amongst the kids.

"Tillyan Lopez, nice to meet you Ms." The older looking man said offering a handshake to which Kate happily accepted.

"Are all of you always this formal with people you meet?" Laswell inquired in earnestly.

"Not always, but they learn to speak with some self respect. As I've taught them from a young age." A Nonchalant Sandra added in as she knew her kids to be so.

"I Do not blame you for that ma'am." Kathy said expressing her understanding of Sandra's perspective, as she too was raised in a strict household herself.

As the group was making their way through the middle of the town, Henrique could be seen heading forth to meet them along with the two chieftains of Greenforst and other important figures strolling alongside one another.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is great to have both the leaders of the people in green, and the sky people in our village." Rithinaian says giving a slight bow of her head to them.

"Please, let us take you all within our village hall for brunch. We have lots of things to discuss amongst ourselves." Uttered rithinaian as he led the lead with his wife.

Meanwhile as the two greeted both Captain Price and Laswell, they just couldn't advert the many thoughts away from Sandra, for they along with those behind them, hesitantly spoke as if they couldn't tell whether the woman was who they actually thought she was.

Though one person for certain decided to bring himself to speak with Sandra as it was none other then the wizard himself who casually made his way on over to the confused Sandra.

"Hello there Ms. Pleased to meet you. I Am nilrem, a wizard at your service." The half Grey ward man said greeting the slightly weirded out Sandra.

As the cloaked wearing man spoke to her her, Sandra's hand slowly edged away from the holster of her gun as she had almost reacted to instinctively from blasting the man's brains out.

As they entered the town hall Sandra expressed a courage of goodwill towards the old wizard as she then responded out of mere formality. "Good to meet you sir nilrem. To what is it I can help you with?"

"I didn't mean to intrude, but I saw you earlier and mistakenly thought you were someone I knew. You bear a striking resemblance to her." The wizard could commented with sincere smile upon his face.

It seems that you are not the only one who has mistaken me for someone other than your friend. Others in my world, or rather my home, have confused me with my own mother.." Sandra replied with a quip, as she couldn't help but feel pain at the memory of her long-dead mother.

Seeing this, henrique too made a comment on the two's conversation as he overheard them. "She's not wrong. Mom here is speaking the truth, she has the face of my grandmother, but older."

*Ow*

Sandra lighthearted chuckle at her son who countered back at Elizabeth for the sudden smack to his back. Afterwards, she then set her focus on the wizard.

"So, if you do not mind, I will ask Mr. Wizard. Why does it seem like everyone in this room is staring at me as though I am important to them?" Sandra inquired, having noticed the townspeople and others dressed in various clothes staring at her ever since she walked through the town's gate.

Nilrem hesitated for a moment but quickly answered right away. "Well, like you said, you bear resemblance to a certain person, a person that I know of. As she herself that is waiting for us rig-

Before the wizard could even finished his sentence a voice, one that nilrem and others knew of had spoken up getting the arrivals attention.

"Hello, gentlemen and ladies. It gives me great pleasure to have you all here" The empress declared herself to the crowd of twenty-first and twenty-sixth century people, and not a moment later she walked forth with a genuine expression on her face. "Allow me to introduce myself please. I Am empress nahara of the earthren kingdom."

Name: Nahara (Empress of earthren)

Eyes: Light Brown and Blue

Hair: Dark Brown

Height: 6 ft

Weight: 157 Ib

Skin: Beige Brown

_______________

Henrique had one hand up covering one side of his mouth as he quietly whispers to Sandra. "Oh and mom, I've forgotten to let you know. That right there is an empress. At first I literally thought it was you, but turns out I was wrong."

"It is a pleasure to meet a royal of this world ma'am." Captain Price spoke as he sauntered forth and shook hands with the empress.

"The pleasure is all mine sir. And what of you young miss, what is your name?"

"Elizabeth Lopez at your service ma'am. These here to my sides are my brothers and sisters. Kathy, Hannah, Kevin, volzarayn, tillyan. I'm sure you've already met my older brother henrique." Elizabeth says recalling back to the time her elder brother went ahead earlier then her and the others.

Kathy after having to patiently wait till her sister finishes speaking then took her chance and spoke. "We Would've all really loved to meet you, but you'll have to forgive us, as we have like two other siblings that are missing the chances to be here."

"Two you say?" Nahara remarked, showing her keen interest in Kathy's statement.

"Certainly, Ma'am. There are two individuals, one being the eldest among us. She is in another part of the world for a particular reason." Elizabeth responded, pausing her speech for a brief moment of three seconds, as she was unsure about Koa's location. "And then there's my twin brother, who I am currently unsure of his whereabouts."

"You'll have to forgive us. We had wished that the rest of our siblings could be here with our family, but seeing as there's only three of my sisters here, plus I and my three brothers, all except my older sister rose, and that of the youngest brother koa." Kevin shared his words with the empress, who was listening to him in silence, especially on the matter regarding rose and five.

"That would make these brother of yours the fifth brother amongst the boys, correct?" Nahara Asked a bit more drawn in on the sibling issue.

"Yes ma'am. He would've been the youngest amongst us all, but my mother was not expecting twins during the day she birthed her first twins." Hannah chimed in as she received a nod of approval from her mother Sandra.

"That's lovely to hear, and I'm guessing this is your mother?" The empress says as she sauntered forth to where Sandra stood.

"Yes, go on ahead. She's a bit of a strict person." Joked Kevin as he stepped aside to let Nahara towards his mom.

"I'll let you all go at it mom." Henrique said joining his brother Kevin.

Sandra nodded slightly to the left at her oldest son's remark because she was unable to control the emotional phenomena that were occupying her thoughts at the time.

The empress made sure to greet everyone as she approached them, including the other members of the twenty-first century and the team wolf pack.

However, Sandra cheerfully stepped forward two steps and raised one hand in greeting to the empress, who had no trouble doing the same.

"You must be the mother, nice to meet you, ummm, may I know your name?" Nahara inquired politely, not wanting to make a first mistake by meeting someone who resembled an older version of herself.

"Sandra, you can call me Sandra Lopez."

"Well, it is great honor in meeting you Sandra. I Know this might sound oddly strange, but somehow, you look like a younger me." Nahara's remark elicited a small laugh from the woman.

"I Could say the same about you, but it seems like you've already beat me to it." Sandra responded in jest because she was somewhat amazed by the individual in front of her.

"Please, don't be so nice. I One Day wish to grow old for once." Nahara responded, pausing briefly when she noticed the wizard Nilrem tapping his wrist, indicating she was holding the line. "Apologies for holding you all back, please come on in, chief daenaria and rithinaian must be waiting for me to finish."

"You are doing just fine empress, but you are right. There's some urgent matters at hand that we must discuss." Rithinaian commented as he and his wife led the way towards a fifteen foot long rectangular table.

_______________

Subsequently, after everyone had settled into their seats, they ensured to observe those around them, attempting to peer through one another unsure of their neighbors, however, the ones that earned most of the natives attention was the twenty first centuries and their alternate futuristic selves.

The man in green from alnus hill and the sky people. Though the heavily advanced folks was who everyone was leaning towards for their own reasons, including that of laswell and her group.

"Now that we've all are seated. Allow me to make the first move... Olithren, would you please." Daenaria spoke ushering for an elven woman to do her thing.

"Of course chieftain." The elven woman answered as she made weird hand movements to where a holographic like magic appeared in the center of the table whereas forests and mountains and that of large land masses materializes for everybody to see.

"What is this?" Questioned Elizabeth arms intertwined as she stared at the constructed magic infront of her.

"What you are seeing is the lands and homes of those around you." Says rithinaian, as not long after he spoke the view gradually changes from a beautiful view and into that of blackened and burnt homes. "A Large army of raiders had long since laid waste on the homes of the peaceful people of vahrian. Villages, as well as small town folks suffered these horrific actions of this mongrels."

"My god, children's, mother's and fathers." Hannah commented not able to bear the sights of the natives being butchered.

For those of the united earth folks, they weren't as soft hearted as their counterpart, as they were all too familiarized with show of blood and dead bodies of civilians, after all, with the war between the humans and covenant, they knew that something like this was of an expectation, one they were used to seeing and deal with. Yet, they couldn't help but sympathize with the people of vahrian and the man in green.

Plus, no matter what, seeing a horrible sight like burnt villages and towns and that of kingdoms was not something they can easily push through without a sense of heart for those that lost loved ones, and those who lost their life in the outcome.

"I understand that what you are observing is quite unpleasant.. However, you will need to express your feelings, as there is more to come than just this.." Uttered Daenaria who nodded for Olithren to continue.

Following after what her leader's order, the elven lady conjured the next thing for the guests to see.

Once she did so, what stood in center for all to see was an army, not the raiders but ones that the empress recognizes all too well.

"This here is one of the most powerful kingdoms of the western lands. They too have a hand in matters that you've all witnessed before. As you all can see, they had one of their own helping the raiders in pillaging the neighboring lands closest to them." Nahara added in getting everyone attention on the amounts of troops being transported in boats and ships that sailed on the ocean."

"It seems they too travel on air." Kevin said seeing multiple pirate like ships, including oddly built ones with what seems to be magic helping keeping it afloat on the sky.

"That they do," Laswell replied, having received word from one of her own people who claimed to have seen pirate-like ships floating and flying in midair.

"I Could've dealt with them long ago. Unfortunately, ever since the previous war, the allied kingdoms had been spread thin. People who once fought alongside the ten kingdoms sought independence from the kings and queens who ruled over them. Of course those rulers allowed them to live on." Nahara stated as she was interrupted by one of the unsc folks.

"As long as they don't interfere with the quarrel that these kingdoms were dealing with, am I right?" Captain whitcomb said glancing at the empress.

"Yes." Nahara said in confirmation as she then continued on. "However, as strong as the allied kingdoms are, they are beginning to pull out of the hard fought battle ahead of us... The raiders are going from one place to another, causing as much difficulty as they can, ensuring to keep the allied kingdoms at bay, by taking out one of the many bases, or lands that strengthens their armies. Or to put in other words, lands that gives them a high advantage over our foes."

"I suspect that this is not all they want you and your supporters to see." Kathy stated as she made a respond to the situation that these empress and her allies were dealing with.

"It is kind of like an attack and retreat maneuver. No offense to you and your friends, empress. As these raiders are kinda good at what they're doing from the way your describing them." Kevin told Nahara who did not blame him for he was absolutely right on his statement.

"Given that these raiders are your main issues, I have a strong suspicion that these other factions assisting them are not the only ones working in helping them from the shadows?" Whitcomb says adding in his own words on the issues the empress and her allies seems to have problems with.

Nahara let out an exasperated sigh in an indication that these whitcomb was right about what he said. "Yes, on that you are right... As you've heard before, the others aren't faring so well with the the issues occurring within their own land. As I know not all of those who wishes independence from the kings and queens who ruled over them aren't the enemies."

"The empress here is right. With the circumstances they are deeply intertwined in, they cannot afford to send most of their troops to fight off the raiders, as they fear the ones aiding them behind closed doors will take advantage of them in their weakened state." The wizard nilrem said making an elicited move on the matter.

"Then, locating one of these raiders' hiding places and obtaining information from them is the best course of action. Unfortunately, considering the level of loyalty they exhibit, the foot soldiers are difficult to break." A chieftain from one of the other villages begged, sounding resentful.

"I Doubt that they aren't that loyal." Whitcomb Added in with little to no care to the stares others around were giving him. "Besides, we've dealt with people with absolute loyalty to whoever it is they serve. Some are really good at doing it, but over time, they'll Eventually break."

"And how exactly will you do that sky man." Another one of the chieftain said questioning whitcomb slightly bitter tone as she stared straight with a face of doubt.

"We have our means of getting answers out of them, or to put it in a way you'll understand. Breaking them till they tell us what we need to hear, and it does not have to involve physical torture, ma'am." Captain whitcomb responded knowing that others like laswell and the unsc folks, especially the team-wolf pack understands.

"Laswell." Captain Price spoke gaining the sudden attention of those near the two of them. "You should tell them of what we've found out."

Captain whitcomb glances at that of chief mendez and the other unsc folks, including Sandra. Afterwards they set their focus on Laswell who took each look at them with mere reluctance of indecisions on what she's gotten from a certain spy of one of her own group.

"I believe I can assist in resolving the main issues that the empress and her friends appear to be facing." Laswell affirmed, as she and price were both Acknowledging the circumstances these natives of vahrian are in.

"Please, were all ears?" Sandra replied arms crossed as she glanced at the woman patiently.

With a nod of inclination, captain whitcomb motioned for Kate to continue whereas the others waited for her to show them what it is exactly she has that could aid in these problematic matters with the raiders.

Thanking them for their silence, laswell then resumed in her move whereas she turns back around and accepted a suit case that one of price squad operatives brought to her. After that she sets it on the table and took her time to open each latches, once after it, she went through one roles of videos, one's pertaining a certain spartan and his group of adventurers.

"What is this laswell?" Whitcomb inquired arms crossed as he could immediately pick up on the back view of a spartan's mjolnir armor.

However, Chief Franklin Mendez and the Wolf Pack team were also captivated by the video screen that Laswell's cordless laptop computer had on pause.

"Green armor, correct me if I'm wrong. But I believe I've seen these armored being before?" One of the lords Uttered regarding the fact that he was in the contest of battles back in arenian city.

"That you have." The empress commented including herself in on the subject especially since she herself has met him.

"One of my agents, or informers, had just combed through one of these alleged raiders' hideouts. My co-conspirators and I think the raiders they have faced have informed them of the next potential key hiding places." Maxwell told the group but was halted in her speech when chief Mendez spoke up.

"With all due respect ma'am. Would you be so kind as to let us know who found this raider base? We are interested in knowing who is assisting one of our Spartans." Franklin Mendez asked politely with a show of slight sincerity.

Laswell gladly answered mendez's inquiry as she then continued on and pressed the play button on the laptop.

"Collin graves, one of our agent was supposed to just keep watch on the city of arenian. But after he caught sight of one of your supossed spartans, he immediately informed us of him."

"I Suspect that he proceeded to spy on him." Spartan Jane of wolfpack added as she stared at the twenty first century woman.

"Yes. Though, we urged for him to stay as far away from the spartan. Unfortunately a woman who we believe is one of your own caught him off guard and captured collon alive." Price says as he stepped forth and turned the picture of Carly around for everybody to see.

Whitcomb sighed deeply as he unclasped his arms and put one hand on the table."Carly, I thought she was back on Alexandria?"

"You'd be surprised of what oni can do to keep their agents hiddened." Jane quip as she too was familiar with the oni woman.

"You know her?" Uttered Hannah.

"Of course I do. She used to be part of the unsc army trooper, until days later she said she was recruited by oni themselves... Good person she is." Jane answered nonchalantly.

"Please continue." Whitcomb said to kate.

"One of yours, or two, as you can see, were among the few who cleared out a raider's base. Along with collon and three others. A witch and a random little girl, plus an elf and a dwarf. With it, theta found this. Though I think its best that you all watch the video for yourself." Laswell says as she resumed the video after pausing it for a moment.

After pressing play, the recorded video showed a gasping common graves running behind the Spartan, with Morgan staying ahead of him and Carly.

"Could You run any faster." A Youthful voice said out loud as she easily made collon look like a middle schooler doing his or her first lap runs.

The bitter collon quickly told off on purllan while jumping over a log with trouble. "What do you think I'm doing damn it! Im not super human nor a person with magical powers!"

Feeling bad for the troubled man, the young girl conjured wind magic underneath collon's feet surprising him on the moment. But be that as it may, it suddenly made the agent run overly faster then he had before.

While getting the hang of the upgrade, purlan sped ahead of colon with zallar the the dwarf aided by her magic followed behind... Not wanting to be left in the dusts of his companions, collon easily made a six feet leaped over a small pond and landed on the other side and made a dash ahead. However, no matter how fast he is, Collin still couldn't keep up with the fastest of his groups.

Yet, it didn't matter to the man for all he cares at the moment was to catch up to them in a matter of time.

"What exactly is it that they are running from?" Questioned a lord.

Nilrem who was silently standing to the side heard the man and made a slight remark of a response to him. "I Believe you'll get your answer, riiight, about now."

A Loud and thumping sound of something heavy answered the lord's inquiry as the slowest of the ones in the group, who was no one other then graves turns his head back to see what it is that's chasing them only to make a fatal mistake when his head came upon contact with a solid tree branch.

Sighing to herself, laswell knew how dubious collon graves could be sometimes, but overall she was going to have to reprimand him on his mistakes, which was ones like this one... Nonetheless, she was just glad to see the man alive.

While laswell was reminiscing about ways to fix her agent's missteps on his surroundings during a deliberate moment he is in the video, an out and out roar transpired causing everyone around her to focus in on the video.

Already knowing what's about to happen, as after all, she had seen the recorded video before.

"Is That a dinosaur skeleton?!" Uttered Kevin as he and the others watches one of the most grotesque creatures either he and those haven't seen before.

Standing twelve feet away from Collin was one of the most lackluster creatures that anyone from the twenty-first to the twenty-sixth century had laid eyes upon... However, the sky people had encountered various life forms on different planets, each with distinct sizes and characteristics.

The creature most well known features was the head of earth's prehistoric land animals, a T-Rex boned head. It's body or torso had reminded some of a komodo dragon, except it's body was covered in metal armor as from the top was a spike which ran down from the top of its spine then back down to the spinal cord. It's tail being fourteen feet tall in length was alot longer then the rest of its own body. Along with its own distinct looks was legs and arms closely resembling a terror bird's own.

Thinking that the beast they're seeing was the only one, those in the room was wrong when a second beast jumped down at a dwarf who was pulling Collin with help in an intention to save the man. Collon in a desperate act pulled out his hand gun and started firing at the beasts, the human made bullets might've landed some hits on the creature making it bleed more, but unfortunately all it did was pissed it off even further to the point it leaps at Collin and zallar in an attempt to kill both.

However, a dark smoke immediately crept towards the two and pulls them back in time from being torn to shreds. In spite of their kill being delayed, the two skeleton creatures continued toward both zallar and Collin who was save by Morgana... When Purlan saw this, she stepped forward and got ready to use her own magic to aid her mother. However, as she was about to do so, the lone Spartan in their group charged forward and attacked the closest of the two creatures. The one watching it's own partner dashes forth mouth wide opened to chomped on the spartan's armored forearm. It then continues to shake it's head left and right wanting to rip the green armored being's arms off, sadly it didn't happen the way it thought it would, as five headbutted the other creature and sent a straight right hook that connected with creature's left cheek causing cracks to appear all the while denting a few of the monster's skeletol bone tooths.

"Quickly, get him up. I'll deal with these two!" Ushered five rolling left to whereas he then got up grabbed one of the skeletol creatures by its head and brought it down to meet his knee.

"But Five, what about you!?" Questioned Carly as she was about to step in and help him but the spartan brought his hand up in an indication for her to stop.

"I Said go, I'll catch up with you all!" Five repeated who then quickly sidestepped from one of the creatures strike.

"Come on Lass!" Zallar says as he grabbed Carly by the arm and dragged her back. "The spartan is right, the longer we linger here, the faster that airship sails away from us, we need to catch up to them."

One of the creatures looked around and spotted one of the groups and leaped towards an unaware purlan, luckily melvinia grabbed a whole of the young girl and made a great leap ahead of Morgana and dazed Collin.

Before the skeletol creature could make another move, the spartan caught its spiked tail and spins it around two times in a circle and releases it to a differentt direction away from the others.

"Hurry!" Five told them as he gave a hard kick on the other monster's head sending it crashing past a wooden log while creating a trail along the dirt.

Afterwards, five immediately reacted at the nick of time to where he made a subtle move that the other creature hadn't expected. With his right arm on the combat knife he stabs the second creature on the side of its abdomen and delivered an elbow hit on the other monster...

The last thing that everyone from the room saw through collon's hiddened dash-cam was spartan five standing in the way between the two skeleton creatures and his group.

Meanwhile before the vids was paused, Carly spoke to five through their communication coms.

"Koa, hurry it the hell up!" The crowed oni agent as she and her group were closed to catching up to the airship.

When Sandra and the others heard that name, she along with her kids and the other spartans, whitcomb and Mendez were thinking of only one person, one they all for certain knew of.

"Copy that! Five out." Replied the spartan as he then went back to fending off with his current issues.

"You said that these groups of people discovered a raiders base; could you please tell me that this is true? And why's it that they are running?" One of the Lords asked in an inquiry.

"Collon reported to us few hours ago that they were rushing to what is said to be an airship, a vessel that could lead them back to a town, one that has a strong relation with the hiddened force that has been helping the raiders." Laswell responded earning looks of satisfaction from those around the table.

One of the lords slammed his hand down on the table lightly, but enough to get everybody's attention. "Then what are we waiting for, we should send one of our own to find these bastards that has been aiding the raiders!"

"That isn't very smart. Besides, colon and his groups of adventurers are already hot on their tails. They'll lead us to these suppose helpers of your common foes." One of the twenty first centuries concluded as she had already has a strong feeling that they'll evantually come upon the subject at hand.

"You lady, you have no say in this. We've finally been given a chance to find the ones responsible for helping our common foes. And you'll have no say in this matter!" The lord says in protest to the SAS operative.

"I'm Afraid that it isn't as easy as you think child." The empress nahara told the lord as she too have a great understanding of the current issues itself. "Plus, I've already have one of my own within the group. She'll help fill us in on the news once she and her group arrives on these said town that has a strong relationship with our supposed foes."

Nilrem then stepped in giving words of understanding response hoping to the lords that they'll stay their contempt and revulsion against the raiders and these apparent allies of theirs. "Lords and ladies, I urge you all to wait it out, once these adventurers finds out, or learns of the raiders and their alleged friends, we'll tell you of when to strike. But not just yet... Give them time, I believe that's something they'll need from you all instead of rushing."

"The wizard is right my friends. I Strongly believe that we should waited it out, once our alleged adventurers asks for aid, that's when we should respond... However, like the wizard had said, we should wait it out." Rithinaian spoke getting looks of agreements and confirmation from those around him.

One of the other lords who was of a queen and wife to her partner, she sighed deeply in defeat, as she and her husband were one of the lords highly effected by the raiders attacks, after mere moments of consideration, she then raises her right hand flat up high.

The queen then got off her chair and stood up and glances at each and every lords and chieftains around the table for their response. "I Agree with the wizards and the elven chieftain Rithinaian... For those who are in favor of this idea, raise your hand. Down for no?"

The empress followed by two other chieftains and lords stood up one after another with their hands raised. Those who observed this had no option but to unite with their fellow lords, as they all concurred with the queen, as they all answered altogether.

"Aye, we shall agree with you your highness."

A Smile plastered across the wizard's face as he was satisfied with how everyone were in on the conclusion of waiting it out. "Then that sets it, we will all wait it out... Let's just hope these adventurers are able accomplish their task."

_______________

Once after everyone came down to a final agreement, each one of them departed from the room at onc, as Rithinaian made an announcement of a banquet, for everyone to eat at dinner on the chow hall.

Though, as everyone departed for the banquet, the empress notices Sandra and her group staying behind. Curious as to why, she wondered over to them wanting a part in on their conversation.

"Apologies, I couldn't help but eavesdrop in on your words of exchangement."

"No your fine your highness." Elizabeth replied apologetically, as she and her family were speaking about a certain spartan.

"We were just speaking about a brother of ours." Kathy Lopez says getting a dubious look from her siblings and mother.

"I'm taking it has something to do with ser five?" The empress commented as she couldn't help but conclude that five was an actual child, if not the youngest brother to all four men's that looks like her actual son's. Though, she could say the same thing to the young woman's as well, all except for this other sister of theirs.

Mentally shaking her head at her sister in defeat, Hannah lopez then spoke in response to nahara. "Please forgive my sister, she tends to spill things that shouldn't be said at all."

"Mom, what should we do with this, we gotten actual proof of koa's survival... You think he'll remember us?" Henrique says asking his mother Sandra who was contemplating about the fact on how koa will see her and his siblings as.

"I Dont know, but I do hope to make amends with him?" Sandra replied sounding slightly contested as she was overwhelmed of seeing her youngest boy.

Though with all that armor covering him from heads to toe, Sandra wondered how koa might actually look like under it. Does he look like his father, or does he have hers.

Glancing down to her waist, she reaches into her right pocket and pulls out flat piece of solid yet soft paper. Those of her children's and grandchildren stared at the piece of photo. The boy she and the others were seeing was none other then a young koa in his cadet uniform.

Here's a picture of a young (KOA) in his cadet years at the age of twelve.

_______________

Already knowing who it is on the picture, Kathy spoke as she couldn't help but be drawn in on the young koa. "He looks so young in that picture."

"It's the only one that Halsey gave me after we got words of his funeral. She said that I deserve to have at least something to remember him by... I'm just hope we'll see him soon." Sandra says responding to her daughter Kathy.

Nahar, on the other hand, could not stop herself from staring at the picture. Something she had long hated was starting to resurface deep inside of her: the smell of grief and anguish, the anguish of the unexpected memory of her youngest son Greythren, whom she had long since lost. She hated that feeling, not of her passed child, but the feeling of the last time she'd seen him on that fateful day, bloodied and battered.

Closing eyes, nahara took a deep breathe in and gradually exhales one to three times. As she opens her eyes once more, she was about to speak, luckily for her, someone from behind her and the family spoke up.

"Lopez family, your highness, supper is ready, if you guys are ready to eat that is." Franklin Mendez says awaiting their response.

"We'll be right in... Come on mom!" Elizabeth said understanding the amount of overwhelming emotion her mother was going through.

The empress is aware of the profound impact that the sudden revelation of the Spartan's survival has had on Sandra and her children, particularly after witnessing five on screen, must've had them going through a different kind of grief.

Nahara, dismissing the sudden thought, extended a hand to Sandra with genuine warmth, to which the woman happily accepted as Sandra in someway somehow felt a new kind of strength just from the simple touch of the empress herself.

Unbeknownst to Sandra, the empress had secretly conjured a healing magic without her knowledge, as after all, nahara had wanted to heal the woman's grief, for she knows the very feeling Sandra was in.
