Vivian stepped into the main lobby and swept her gaze around.
When she got back to the private compound of the Temple of Priests, she had breakfast first, did her "night" routine, and then washed some clothes before going to bed. However, once she got to bed, she couldn't sleep and only ended up tossing and turning for about an hour until she decided to just go to the Adventurer's Building.

Vivian was running at full speed with a poleaxe on her hand.
Up ahead about 20 meters, she noticed two Brown Kraines playing around with each other.

Vivian stepped on a branch and the two monsters immediately turned to her.
Although she appeared blurry in their eyes, they could still at least see a figure that was heading their way and they also felt a natural aversion towards the figure.

When the two monsters were about to enter Vivian's attack range, she abruptly stopped.

Something suddenly attacked her from above on a tree branch. But due to her speed, the attack missed and she was already a couple of feet away.
Vivian stopped in her tracks, turned around and immediately searched for the thing that tried to attack her.
A 15-foot-long black-colored snake was climbing down the tree.
Woooh!

She threw her poleaxe and managed to hit the monster's body with the spear-head of her weapon, pinning it on the tree.
The monster wiggled in pain and tried to break away.
Vivian quickly raised her hand forward.
[Lightning Arrow].
Pscht!
Thud, thud, thud…
A 15-inch-long arrow made out of lightning burst out of her hand, shot through the monster's body and electrocuted it along with the tree. In the end, the monster ended up burnt and hanging lifelessly on the tree with all of the tree's leaves and fruits burned away and there was smoke coming out from the body and snake.
Vivian scratched the side of her face with her finger.
Hmm…
That was destructive…
She let out a sigh and then went over to the tree to retrieve her weapon.
Looks like I really have to be careful in using the right kind of powers…
The last thing I want is to accidentally kill people…
But I like the electrocuting effect though…
It's like a mini-stun…
And I could follow it up with another attack…

I still have to be careful in accidentally killing someone…

Vivian turned into a blur as she distanced herself from the animal and then twirled her poleaxe before crushing the animal with the hammer-head of her weapon.

She gritted her teeth as she searched for the bird and saw that it was already about 5ft away from her.

She stabbed the bird in mid-air with the spear-head of her weapon.
Beeeak! Beeeeak!
The animal crowed and flapped its wings as it desperately tried to free itself.

Vivian clicked her tongue.
This useless weapon…!
She thrust her weapon to the ground, pinning the bird.
Ba-splat!
And then crushed its head with a stomp.
After pulling out her weapon, instead of taking a break, she swept her gaze around her surroundings to see if there were any other incoming enemies.
