Vivian stepped into the main lobby and she was immediately turned to Pana. She smiled and waved her hand.
Pana smiled and waved back as Vivian went over to her.
"Didn't see you this morning."
"I had some things to do."
"Looking for a Quest? I have wonderful news for you."
Vivian raised an eyebrow.
"It's not another client, is it?"
"No, no, no. It's about the Bukaroo Quest, it's available."
"Oh… That's good to hear. I'll get it right away before it gets snatched."
"You really like the Bukaroo Quest, don't you?"
"Oh, please don't. I would literally die in shame if someone starts calling me Bukaroo or Bukaroo Slayer."
They both let out a chuckle.
"Anyhow, I'll go get it now. Still got so many things to do."
"Okay, good luck!"

Vivian turned away and headed to the Quest Board.
Looks like those kids didn't rat me out, huh…

Somewhere in a forest outside Luxen City.

A 15-inch arrow made out of lightning shot through the air. It blasted away a Treebark's arm and also electrocuted its whole body before falling down, leaving the smell of burnt wood in the air.
Hmm…
Not bad I guess…
She glanced at her poleaxe.
I thought I could just hit the arm and then finish it off with my poleaxe…
But just the electrocution alone killed it…
She let out a sigh.

And then burst out into a run.

Vivian saw a group of tiny jumping mushrooms up ahead. She didn't stop running and continued charging towards it.

The mushrooms immediately felt her presence, thanks to her [Nemesis of Beasts] once she got closer. But before they could turn to her direction, she already reached them and swung her poleaxe.

She did a series of spinning attacks, obliterating every mushroom into shreds that came into contact with her weapon. And when there was only one mushroom left, she stopped and raised her weapon.

She crushed it with the hammer-head of her weapon.
Hmm…
She pulled her weapon back and examined it.
I'm starting to enjoy this weapon…
Her gaze landed on the spear-head.
Except for the spear though…
She rolled her eyes.
"Right, I still have to level up the [Spear Mastery] as well…"

Vivian then burst out in a run to search for more enemies.

Vivian stopped and turned her head to look for the Bukaroo. When she finally spotted it, she immediately charged towards it.

She slapped the bird away with her poleaxe and then rushed towards where it landed.

She finished it off by stabbing it on the head with the spear blade of her weapon and then pulled it away before extracting the tail.
Vooom!
After extracting the tail, she burst out into a run once again to search for more enemies.

Vivian suddenly stopped.
What the fuck is that…?
Up ahead, she saw what looked like a single-horned wolf.
It was 1.5 times bigger than a large dog, it had brown fur, and it had a single slightly curved brown horn on its forehead which was almost a foot tall.
The wolf noticed Vivian and immediately bared its long canine fangs before charging.
Finally…
A new animal…
She raised her hand forward and activated a spell.
[Lightning Arrow].

An arrow made out of lightning burst out of her hand and it shot passed through the wolf's body as if it were made out of paper and it also electrocuted it.
Thud!
The wolf crashed on the ground and the smell of burnt meat permeated in the air.
Pah!
Vivian face-palmed.
Shit…!
I forgot to measure how fast it was compared to the fox...!'

She went over the corpse and the smell of burnt meat only got stronger.

I'm not gonna lie, it smells good…
Back in her previous world, although eating dogs was a delicacy in certain parts of the world, she never tried eating one, let alone a wolf.
I recalled watching a video that eating a wolf is dangerous because it has a lot of viruses…

The wolf's corpse was cut in half, down to its flesh and bone. She then pushed one side to the corner with her weapon, causing blood and guts to flow and spill on the ground, before crouching down to get a closer look.
Her brows knit together.
I don't see any worms…
Maybe they're too tiny to see…?
She got up and looked around her surroundings.
Now that I think of it…
I think I must've delved a little too deep into the forest without realizing it…
With Vivian's current stats combined with her weapon and [Nemesis of Beasts] Lore, she was slaughtering animals every 10-20 seconds and she didn't really have to think about where she was going. Other than the Bukaroo tails, all she cared about was earning EXP. And even if she gets lost, she could easily just find a tall tree to look for the direction of where Luxen City was located.
She returned her gaze to the mutilated corpse in front of her.
I've also never seen this monster…
She swept her gaze around her surroundings once again.

She spotted the first one and then searched for the second one.

She swung her poleaxe and the bird was sliced in half mid-air before it crashed to the ground. Without missing a beat and the world still moving slowly through her eyes, she turned her attention to the remaining one and then rushed towards it.

She slapped the bird away with her weapon and then dashed over to where it landed.
Surp.
She stabbed it with the spear-head of her poleaxe.

A fox suddenly jumped out of the bushes to bite Vivian but she easily evaded it and the monster landed on the ground.
