"Well?? Out with it!" Jayden demanded. Based on their looks alone, it was clear that they both knew what the voice of the gauntlet was referring to.
Jun let out a sigh. He hadn't brought it up to the others because he had honestly forgot about it in the midst of all that was happening.
"I wouldn't say that's the exact case," Jun began, "but there is some truth to it. It was after I tried to cut the string of fate and failed when you did your big move the first time..."
*Earlier when Jun went unconscious*
Jun could feel himself falling into a dark abyss. He remembered trying to bring the sword down on the string and it refusing to give way to the sharpness of his blade like it had before.
"Am I dead?" He said. While he could see physical parts of his body it was like they weren't there at all. He was weightless and just another part of the darkness around him. A tiny light twinkled before him that washed a warm glow over him. The light felt...inviting.
