"Jayden?" Ryo turned and asked Jun. "The guy who ran off on you?"
"Yes, but...I'm not sure. It's so dark here it could've been anyone. Maybe I just wanted that to be him for some reason." Jun wasn't going to allow himself to get attached to any far fetched hopes. If it really was Jayden, they would catch up to him after the gauntlet.
But for now, they had a mob floor to do.
The two walked to the center of the room as always and awaited for their rings to give them instructions.
"Remember, just yell out if you get too many on you at once." Jun said.
"Don't YOU forget to do that. I'll be fineee. If anything, it's a handicap for them." Ryo replied.
Their rings lit up and gave them the awaited instructions. "This is a special case room - for players who do a solo run in the Gauntlet of Retribution, there is only one option for them here by default. But for players that travel in groups of 2 or more, there is a secondary path available to them here."
