Chapter 4 - Final Chapter: The Curse of Hellgaru

**Final Chapter – The Curse of Hellgaru**

Three days after the incident, Mu Gang opened his eyes in the hospital.

The soft beeping of machines, the smell of antiseptic, and the weight of silence greeted him.

But this time... he remembered **everything.**

The blood. The screams. His sister. His parents. The taste of flesh.

Tears rolled down his cheeks, but there was no time for guilt.

Before the doctors noticed he had regained consciousness, and before the police came to investigate the massacre at his home—

**Mu Gang disappeared.**

---

Not long after, a shocking tragedy unfolded elsewhere.

Jin-Woo, Mu Gang's closest friend, had slaughtered his entire family—and then his neighbors.

By the time the police arrived, the situation had spiraled out of control. Caught in a crossfire, **Jin-Woo was killed**.

Mu Gang later found out about the incident.

It wasn't coincidence.

It was the same curse.

He rushed to Jin-Woo's house, hoping it wasn't true—but there it was.

**Hellgaru.**

The ancient, cursed stone.

Sitting silently in the middle of the blood-soaked room.

Mu Gang stared at it, hollow-eyed. "You did this... to him too."

He picked up the rock, cradling it like a dangerous child. Then, without a word, he vanished again—this time, for good.

---

He fled to a desolate island far beyond civilization. A place with no people, no voices—only wind, rain, and time.

His mission was clear: **to seal away Hellgaru forever.**

He tried to destroy it—crushed it with boulders, drowned it in the sea, burned it for days.

Nothing worked.

So he made the ultimate decision.

**He swallowed it.**

If the world couldn't be rid of the stone, then he would carry it into death himself.

Years passed.

Mu Gang lived in isolation, growing thinner, paler, and quieter, until one day—he simply stopped moving.

His body transformed slowly, unnaturally. Roots sprouted from his stomach, anchoring him to the earth like a twisted tree.

And from his withered form...

**Thirteen stones were born.**

Fragments of despair.

---

### 100 Years Later

A man washed ashore on that very island, the wreckage of his ship drifting behind him.

"Damn," he muttered, brushing sand from his arms. "What a beautiful island... Never thought I'd survive that storm."

Days turned to weeks.

Exploring the jungle one morning, the man discovered a **hidden cave** nestled in the cliffside.

He stepped inside, flashlight in hand.

"Looks like someone lived here..." he whispered.

Then he saw it.

In the center of the cave: a human-like corpse, partially fused with twisted tree roots. A grotesque statue of death.

Curious, the man drew his knife and began cutting away at the roots.

When he reached the hollow stomach cavity—

**He froze.**

Inside were **thirteen black stones**. Smooth. Pulsing faintly. Resting like eggs in a nest of bone.

The moment he touched them—

They **smiled.**

The man staggered back. The air turned thick. Then the rocks began to **weep blood**.

And in unison, they spoke in a voice not of this world:

> "Drink our blood. Become the Devil.

> Free us. Spread our curse.

> Bring chaos to this damned world."

The man, trembling, let out a slow laugh. Then louder. Then hysterical.

> "Hahaha... Yes. YES! I will use the power of Hell to **tear Heaven from the skies**. I will become a God."

The cave echoed with laughter and the sound of something ancient waking once more.

---

**The Curse Begins Again.**

**The End.**
