"What?" Blaze asked.
"Nothing. What did you plan?" Su Jiyai asked.
Kars glanced at Su Jiyai, still gripping his weapon.
"We were just discussing how to get past those beasts. We need a distraction," he said.
Blaze smirked, clearly still annoyed.
"Why don't we send Ragnar? Since he likes sneaking around so much."
Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow but didn't rise to the bait. She was too focused on the mission.
"What's the plan?" she repeated calmly.
Kars sighed and shook his head at Blaze.
"Cut it out, Blaze. We need teamwork here, not bickering."
He then looked back at Su Jiyai.
"Here's the idea: Mei and Juliet will use their power to create an illusion on the far side of the clearing.
The beasts will get curious and hopefully head over there. That's when we sneak inside the mine."
Su Jiyai nodded, but her mind was already working on a backup plan, just in case things didn't go as smoothly as they had hoped.
"Sounds simple enough," she said, trying not to show her doubts.
