"If you really want it, I can provide the Hero Association with a steady supply of the product, at the proper price of course." Sekingar gulped as the brown eyes locked on him, this seemed like a big deal but it was a test. And the target wasn't him.
'Even if he provides it to us, there are chances that it will actually get stolen or reported missing while it gets sold off in the background. There are several corrupt officials and investors who wouldn't let the opportunity go.' Sekingar could already see how everything would go to shit. Not only would they lose Adam's trust, but their heroes also wouldn't get the one thing that could help them.
"About that, we have already agreed to send our heroes over to this shop. It would be a bit of a hassle, but with the new Superhighways completed, it is certainly possible to travel between cities much faster." Shizuka took his glances as a gesture and spoke up.
"You won't have to worry about that for long. We are already in the works to open the shop in new cities. The plan is to open one in every major city across the country." Adam said bringing a smile to their faces.
"That would make things a lot easier for the heroes. If there is any way we can help please contact us through Shizuka, she would be a personal liaison between you and the Hero association." Sekingar said as Shizuka bowed with a smile. Her cheeks turned rosy when Adam looked over.
"We don't need help, but appreciate the offer." Fubuki cut it off though.
She was fine with letting the Hero Association have some stock for researching. Because this product came about through Adam's powers, there wasn't any way to copy it. She only thought that because Adam didn't look bothered about it. He should know that those people would try to recreate it. And he looked ok with it as they wouldn't succeed.
But, letting them intervene in the shop was unacceptable for her. No outside influence allowed. Only the Blizzard Group would work on this. It was their privilege as Adam's first and only partners.
"We'll await the good news, then. if you'd allow us." Sekingar said. He stood up alongside Shizuka and left with a bow.
Grayfia guided them out as Adam and Fubuki sat side by side. The meeting was a success. Not only would Grayfia and Adam become Class S, but the Hero Association wouldn't have any hands in the shop. But, Fubuki still had a complaint.
"Why didn't you tell me that civilians would come in today?" Her green eyes narrowed to catch every expression on his face.
"Oh… That was supposed to be today?" Adam blinked.
"Did you really forget that?" He nodded at her question. Sensing no lies from him Fubuki sighed. "See? You do need a partner after all. Things would've been a mess if I wasn't here."
"Yeah, I am quite thankful for what you did." Adam smiled seeing her puff her chest out. She was quite proud of herself, and she should be.
"No need to worry. This is what partners do." She patted his back in understanding. He too must be busy with his things, making the product, keeping an eye around to guard it, and looking for new properties.
He had tons of things to do even with a team. That's why Fubuki understood that this thing slipped his mind. However, he didn't forget it.
'She performed better than expected even when uninformed. As I thought, she would be key to help me.' Adam smiled to himself as Fubuki got on her high horse. It wasn't bad, after all, she was a hard worker.
"So, how did the sales go?" His question made her come back down to earth. She whipped out a book from the side as if waiting for the chance and laid it open before him.
"Five Million Yen in one day?" He didn't expect it to make this much, after all, Fubuki did put an order limit at first. But, this was for those who wanted to eat there. If they took it out of the shop, they could make up to ten orders.
"It would be foolish to not take advantage of the hype and sell as many as we can. Also, the taste will spread much faster like this when they share it with their family and friends. Bringing in more customers for us as the cycle continues." Fubuki grinned.
"It makes sense. So, did we sell out?" She nodded, but before she could bring up the most important topic, he did.
"Let's do a 50-50 split of the money." Her eyes went wide. If that was true then she made Two and a half Million in a single day? But, she never expected it to get split in half.
"You said it yourself, we are partners. So that's how it should be." Adam smiled taking Fubuki's breath away.
But, it wasn't because she found him handsome. The real reason lay that now they planned to open other shops. If they all make profits like this—hell even half of this. Wouldn't she be rolling in money? Such a scenario wasn't far out now that they had agreed on the perfect split. Even if she needed to pay the other members of Blizzard Group for their hard work. She'll still have loads. If she saved up. it wouldn't take long for her to buy the mansion Adam rented them.
"This is now final. I'll get you the contract tomorrow to make it legal." She wasn't one to leave any holes out, verbal agreements were too loose unless in her favor.
"That's fine by me. Now, you can focus on gathering the workforce and I'll set up the shops." Adam said.
"That'll be perfect. How much time will that take?" Fubuki needed to know so she could speed up or slow down the recruitment process. Since they planned on opening a shop in every major city, her Blizzard group alone wouldn't be enough to handle them.
So, she planned to get more people, but only after a thorough investigation with the help of Isamu. But, the answer that came left her baffled.
"The shops will be ready to operate within a week." That sounded like a load of bullshit.
As of now there are 25 cities in the country, even if he had the locations ready, the legal procedure, rebuilding, preparation of the product, furnishing, and getting the utilities in order. It would all take time. Or it was supposed to.
"That mad man…. He really did it in a week…" Fubuki muttered looking at the ceiling of her bedroom.
