The bus drove out of the small town, heading northwest along the gravel road, kicking up dust behind it.
Just a few dozen kilometers to the west, was the border between Guangnan Province and Guixi Province.
Liiu Yuan City was a major city in the north of Guixi Province, vast in territory, and the city had expanded enormously.
Among them, the Liiu Rong New District was situated northwest of Phoenix Town—it was an enclave of Liiu Yuan City, precisely between the major cities of Bin City and Liiu Yuan City.
Thus, being such a close new district, many people from Phoenix Town preferred to head to Liiu Rong New District rather than Bin City, which was much further away.
Therefore, there were nearly ten bus trips to Liiu Rong.
However,
this area was too mountainous, roads were still gravelly, poor and isolated; Phoenix Town was not a key development area for the government, so the roads were not made.
