The East Wing was located in one of the towers of the castle. Her room has a balcony and from there, she could hear the loud music and laughter from the banquet hall.
She took a deep breath and looked at the territory of Elysium. She remembered her father's kingdom. The Kingdom of Elysium, Moongrove, Zedora and all the other cities were all under her father's territory. But everything now belonged to the Lycan King.
A tear dropped from her left eye remembering her time as the Princess of Terraria. Everything was perfect, but now she's a mere werewolf who had nothing.
"Father, Mother, I promised to take back everything they took from us! I will make sure to avenge the fall of our family and Terraria. I will be the most powerful Queen and Luna, and everyone will kneel before me!"
She heard a few knocks on the door so she quickly wiped the tears from her eyes.
"You're here." It was Elias.
She smiled. "I was just enjoying the view."
She flinched when Elias hugged her from behind, sniffing her neck.
"Hey." She whispered.
"I just couldn't resist your scent. It's making me crazy."
"Why are you here? How about the banquet?" She asked.
"Everyone's getting drunk and I'm not in the mood for that. I want to be with you."
She gulped. "The other girls will get mad."
Elias chuckled. "I don't care about them. They were chosen by the elders, not me."
He was kissing her neck and his hands were rubbing her stomach gently, making her body warm. She had to control herself so she mustered her strength to get away from his arms.
"Look, I need you to stop touching me whenever you want. It's — It's"
"What?" He frowned.
"It's making me crazy! Let's just say, my body wants you or maybe my wolf, I don't know! But I can't just give in."
"Why do you have to make everything complicated? As I said, I can mark you now to make you my Luna and my Queen."
Yes! That was her plan. But she had to act like a surprised lover.
"What did you say? Your Luna and your Queen?"
Elias nodded. "Yes. I want you to be both. If I have two different women, I have an obligation to sleep with both of them. I don't want that. You're the only one I want."
"O–Okay. But that doesn't mean you can touch me anytime. We're not yet married!"
"Marriage?"
If she was alone, she could slap herself from saying about marriage. Werewolves never believed in marriage. They only believe in the mating pull.
"Yes! Like humans, I want to have a wedding."
Well, there's no backing out now. She had to make a story about the reason she wanted a wedding.
"I grew up in Moongrove and weddings are allowed there. It always makes my heart happy every time I see girls in white dresses with long trails. They looked like princesses."
Elias nodded. "I see. Then, if you want a wedding. I'll give it to you."
"That's not how you ask someone to marry you." She pouted.
She wasn't sure how she convinced Elias to leave her room. He was insisting on staying the night, but she didn't agree. In exchange, she promised to go somewhere with him in the morning.
"Triton, do you know how to ask someone to marry you?" Elias asked.
Triton had a confused face. "Like the way humans bond with their mate?
Elias nodded. "Yes. Helena wanted to get married like humans so I told her we will. But she said that's not the way to ask someone."
"Well, I think you have to offer her a ring with a diamond while on your knees and ask, will you marry me?"
Elias glanced at Triton and they both laughed.
"That's really weird. But I have no choice. I have to fulfill her wishes to make her mine."
Triton's face was plastered with worries.
"Are you really sure about that woman? Don't get me wrong. I saw her face and I had the same feeling toward her. I think all of the men who saw her were charmed by her beauty. Aren't you worried about it?"
He knew exactly what Triton meant. Helena had the power to bewitch anyone, especially men. But…
"I don't think I am simply charmed by her face."
"What do you mean?"
"Tell me, do you want to sleep with her? Touch her so badly? Do you feel anything toward her besides that?"
"I don't. I just want a taste of her."
If it was another man, he would have killed him. But Triton was his best friend and he was just telling the truth.
"Then I'm different. I want her, not just her body. I want her heart, her soul, everything. I want her by my side so I can protect her from men like you."
Triton chuckled. "You know. She's yours. And I would never dare to touch the next Luna of our pack. Honestly, I'm worried about you. Just remember, that my priority is to protect you from anyone. If I think you're in danger because of her, I won't hesitate to kill her."
Elias nodded. "I know. Don't worry. I can feel that she's the woman I'm looking for. She will be my Luna and my Queen."
"As your soon-to-be Luna, I suggest you teach her how to defend herself. If she wants to be your Queen, she has to learn how to use a weapon."
"I already had plans for tomorrow. I'm not going to teach her self defense but I will teach her how to fight."
Triton was still having doubts toward Helena. He couldn't just accept someone from an unknown origin would be the Luna of their pack so he already asked someone to look at her background.
"She's Baroness Page's adopted daughter. She was sent here as a leverage to the king until her mom finished her three-year mourning period. I couldn't find anything about her before her adoption." An informant told him.
"Baroness Jolene Page. The one who had a missing daughter." He murmured.
For that information, Triton knew he had to visit the Baroness to ask about the woman who captured the next alpha's heart.
