A swirling vortex appeared in the sky, like an upside-down whirlpool stretching into another world.
Mo Hao's eyes lit up with interest. "Ah, a Cave Heaven spatial channel! Owning your own Cave Heaven is quite impressive, Daoist friend Jiang Chen." He smiled as he studied the portal.
Jiang Chen chuckled, shaking his head. "With your background, Daoist friend Mo Hao, something like this must be nothing special to you."
He wasn't about to let Mo Hao's flattery get to his head. He had to stay cautious. Mo Hao came from an extraordinary lineage—his family probably had several Cave Heavens of their own.
Getting too full of himself could end in humiliation.
Mo Hao's smile didn't fade, but his tone changed. "I used to have a Cave Heaven," he said, his eyes flashing coldly. "It's not mine anymore, but trust me, I'll take back everything that was once mine." Then, as if shaking off his dark thoughts, he let out a laugh and stepped into the swirling portal.
