Nadia flies high above the skyline, wanting an opportunity to talk to Keiko before returning to Rika on the ground. “Keiko, please tell me you’re ok. Please tell me they didn’t actually as-.”
“I’m ok Nadia.” She quickly replies to quell her fears. “They never got beyond that position.”
Nadia takes a deep sigh of relief. “Thank goodness! I was beside myself with worry.” She starts to tear up now. “I really thought I was going to lose you Keiko. After finding out that you were taken by Elie, and that together with Elnora they kept us both trapped in their twisted dream realms for so long, you even longer than me apparently. It was enough to drive me mad with worry. Then for that blasted barrier to be in place and block me from saving you sooner, I’d have killed myself if the worst had happened to you there. Especially considering your past abuse…I would’ve never forgiven myself. So I still want to apologize. I’m sorry I didn’t arrive sooner.”
