As a group, we sat there and talked for a few hours. I think this was a good thing, honestly. If we hadn't sat there and reminisced about things, I wouldn't have known how I was supposed to respond to this situation. I had just found my mate, and that was huge. And to top it all off, this new mate of mine was someone that I had known, gone to school with, and been friends with.
Talk about a majorly huge shock. Not only did my sister mate with someone that we have known for well over a year, but I did too. That was not expected. And to add to that, Ada had been friends with Talia and Sereia and spent the night at our house. I have seen her in a swimsuit, pajamas, and in the morning with bedhead.
To be honest, I was happy that I had these experiences with her. Most people didn't have that level of familiarity with their mates and partners when they first got together. They had to go through all that awkwardness while building their trust and love for each other.
