It had been a few days since Misty had seen Harinder and Psymuk off. The somber tone of their farewells was partly due to the tragedy at the temple and partly because she would miss her dragon shifting husbands.
"Misty!" Subtessa Doshi called. Misty hurried to the children's play area. She was helping out today. Doshi and her wife Ishan had been living at the estate for a while now. Little Mika loved his adopted mothers and had really come out of the shell of growing up in a prison. Misty laughed. He still carried the blanket around. But he was a lot better at letting others clean it.
Today, the kids had been broken into two groups. One group was "helping" in the garden. The other was taking what Misty called art class. Today, everyone was going to get a chance to paint a pet rock.
