Venera had devoured almost a full plate of sweet cookies. Almost considering Micah had wolfed one of them down already. Her tummy was still full, and she felt sleepy already. Eating a lot always tends to make her feel sleepy.
As if on cue, a small yawn escaped her lips. She leaned her head lazily on the silver-haired vampire's shoulder, blinked her watery eyes at him, and said, "Brother, I want to sleep."
"Then go to sleep," Caius said softly. "I will accompany you."
With that, the two vanished from the top of the tree, leaving behind a strong gust of wind.
If one were to witness this moment, then all they could see with the naked eye was a silver blur that soared into the sky before it plummeted, approaching the camp not far away and disappearing into the lights.
