In an instant Di Tou rushed back, 'returning' from the 'Void' to quickly arrive at the moonlit stage, and hopefully take advantage of whatever was going on to exit alongside the food and drinks! But alas, he had no such luck, and was left standing on the moonlit platform all alone once more. His lips trembling, Di Tou collapsed on the ground, splayed out like a starfish with all four limbs pointing different directions and stared at the moonlight for an entire day before he finally came back to his senses.
Staying alone for an entire month… was a really terrifying thing. Although it was true cultivators could go into seclusion for years or decades at a time, the two were very different contexts.
