"Aren't you leaving?" Zoe, reluctant to part ways with Yuzhen, hesitated as he stood by the door.
"How about I stay here tonight!" he asked shamelessly, his lips curling into a shy smile.
Hearing this, Yuzhen's heart fluttered, but he held himself back, refusing to be trapped in Zoe's plans. Yuzhen knew that if he let Zoe stay, his mind would go crazy while thinking dirty thoughts and he doesn't want to reveal that side of him to Zoe yet.
"No, thanks. We have a long day ahead tomorrow—go and rest," Yuzhen said firmly.
Disappointed, Zoe turned away, walking off reluctantly, still glancing back at Yuzhen every few steps. With a shy smile, Yuzhen closed the door. He had never imagined a day like this would come. It felt as if happiness was being poured right into the palm of his hand.
But suddenly, the atmosphere around him shifted. Within seconds, his room transformed into a vast desert. Alarmed, Yuzhen summoned his sword and unsheathed it, scanning his surroundings cautiously.
