"So Miss you don't remember your past memories. Did you encounter any accident that made you lose your memory?" Dr. Lauren asked her, taking note of her answers.
Mira remained silent, looking down. Fiddling with her fingers, she recalled the only memory she recovered that has been haunting her these days. The woman soaked in a pool of blood calling her name. The more she tried to recall the more her breathing got heavier.
"Okay okay, calm down," Dr Lauren instructed her calmly, as she observed how distressed Mira was becoming.
"We can take it slow Mira, relax," the doctor continued. She could see that Mira was struggling to control her breathing.
Mira slowly exhaled. Taking deep breaths, she tried to steady her breathing.
"Since when did you start having a panic attack?" Dr. Lauren asked, trying hard not to alarm Mira.
