Visitors must gain the recognition of the bonfire through a ritual to obtain the flame; they can go to the dead's region before the flame goes out. If they fail to leave before the flame extinguishes, they will be trapped forever on the other side.
Even though it sounded dangerous, Bonfire Valley used to be a tourist attraction.
Many patients who underwent open-source would come here to witness the marvel of mountain ranges that connect the sky, and they would also attempt to awaken the bonfire,
If they managed to get the flame and went to the world of the dead, with a bit of luck, they might establish contact with the dead in advance, or even win the favor of death.
