Chapter 24 - Alex no demon episode 24

Deo raced through the forest at an intense speed, weaving between trees as laser beams tore through the air around him. Jason, matching his velocity, chased relentlessly, his hands glowing as he fired beam after beam with an excited smirk on his face. The blasts missed Deo by inches, reducing towering trees to ash and debris. "Shi..... I'm already having a bad feeling about this. Kinto said that most of out opponents would be D-rank. But this guy is just on a very low end of C-rank, just like me. If I wasn't as strong and fast as thus guy, I'd be in shambles right now." He smirked "Whatever, I'll just dance around with this guy for a while."

Grimacing, Deo activated the nanotech watch on his wrist. With a metallic whir, it transformed into a sleek robotic arm that surged with energy. He raised it, firing beams of his own, clashing against Jason's attacks and causing explosions that could wipe out a few citu blocks in a dazzling display of light.

Their battle continued like a thunderstorm—chaotic and explosive—until Jason suddenly leapt high into the air. From above, he charged a massive beam in both hands, its energy shaking the ground below.

"Let's end this!" Jason roared, unleashing the colossal laser.

Deo braced himself. With a defiant yell, he transferred a massive surge of energy into his robotic arm and caught the beam head-on. The ground cracked beneath his feet. He growled, sweat pouring down his face.

"I'm not gonna last much longer. Damn this guy's packing lots of power, he's like sōn but on steroids" he muttered through gritted teeth.

With one final push of strength, Deo roared and redirected the beam into the sky, blasting a hole through the clouds.

But the victory was brief. Jason appeared behind him in a blur, gripping Deo's face and slamming him through countless trees, shattering trunks with each impact. Jason leapt high again, both hands glowing with deadly energy.

"There's no way your pathetic city will win this domain war. That's a promise" he declared, descending with power concentrated in his palms.

Before he could strike, a flaming streak tore through the sky. Son, engulfed in blazing fire, crashed into Jason midair with a devastating punch, sending him flying backward through the forest.

"Sorry I'm late," Son said, landing beside Deo.

Deo, panting, grinned weakly. "Be careful. That guy's a beast."

Son cracked his knuckles with flames slowly flaring from both arms, a wild grin spreading across his face. "Then I guess I'll have to go all out." Son too, is nothing but a fierce blazing beast as well.

Meanwhile...

Serena and Sukuna clashed with Sakura in a deadly dance of daggers, punches, and kicks. Serena's legs sparked with electricity as she charged up, then vanished in a flash, moving as fast as lightning itself, her vains were glowing on her legs and arms, serena was pushing herself. Sakura dodged every strike with incredible agility.

Sukuna lunged from the shadows, but Sakura twisted out of the way, her hair fluttering—and then turning into a storm of razor-sharp needles. Serena zipped between them, barely keeping up, while Sukuna deflected them with expert precision, her daggers gleaming "Right now, I'm not as fast as Serena, but I can react to her movements. This gives me the ability to not ware her down and be a burden.", sukuna thought to herself.

"You two are impressive," Sakura said, unfazed. "But playtime's over."

From her long hair, she drew two strands and twisted them into double-edged swords. Serena, breathing heavily, glanced at Sukuna.

"I don't think I can hold out much longer…"

"Stay back," she said, stepping forward just as Sakura hurled one of her swords at lightning speed.

Before impact, Raquel shot in from the side, slapping the weapon away effortlessly. She landed beside Serena and gave her a stern look.

"You alright?"

Serena nodded. "I'm fine."

"You almost got skewered by a sword moving almost as fast as light. Don't act fine."

Sukuna smirked. "She's not wrong. And plus if you hadn't stepped in, I'd have to strain myself to block that incoming sword." Serena said to Sukuna with mild annoyance "Then you should have just pushed me out of the way rather than take an attack that could have harmed you badly." "My bad" Sukuna replied playfully Raquel said to her in a nervous tone "I don't think nows the time foe jokes like that."

Sakura yawned and crossed her arms. "Are you three gonna chit-chat all day?"

Crystals formed over Raquel's arms, sharpening into

glowing blades. "No. I'm gonna end this Sakura bitch myself."

Sakura laughed. "Touch a strand of my hair and I'll be impressed."

Back with Son and Jason...

The two darted through the forest, blasting attacks with fierce intent. Jason flung laser after laser, while Son hurled fireballs, their energies colliding midair with thunderous bursts, they both were showing good combat abilities and strength while blazing around. Trees exploded, and the battlefield scorched under their clash.

Jason summoned his energy and formed two giant shurikens of concentrated laser, flinging them at Son.

Son's body heated to its limit, glowing brighter, and he blasted the shurikens apart. Then, turning into a fiery tornado, he barreled toward Jason, who countered with beams that rivaled the heat of a sun.

Still, Son twisted through them with fiery finesse. Jason snarled.

"Stop acting tough!"

Charging another beam, he fired—but Son burst from his tornado, spiraling with flame. He roared and launched a massive fireball "And you should stop acting so gangster!", he said with excitement on his face, countering the beam and overpowering it

Jason's eyes widened. "How the hell—?!"

Before he could react, Son had already charged up another devastating attack of flames. With a final blast, he hurled it straight at Jason, engulfing the area in flames. Trees were vaporized, and smoke blanketed the forest.

When the dust cleared, Jason lay on the ground—burned, unconscious.

Deo, still recovering, stared in awe. "Damn, that was insane!"

Son walked over and pulled him up. "You okay?"

"Yeah… thanks to you."

Son nodded. "Let's regroup. The others might need help. And plus, this guy might get up and attack us faster than we know it"

Meanwhile, in the heart of the forest...

Raquel and Sakura leapt between trees, exchanging attacks at blinding speed. Raquel fired crystal spikes like bullets, each one deflected by Sakura's skillful weapon work.

Their battle shifted to close combat—Raquel slashing with hardened crystal arms, Sakura countering with precise dagger strikes.

Sakura gritted her teeth. "She's fast… too fast for me to fully read."

She leapt from the canopy, sending another wave of hair-needles at Raquel, who blocked them all midair.

Then, Sakura hurled a sword at her and reappeared behind her, attempting a sneak attack.

But when her blade connected, it met a crystallized back—Raquel had reinforced herself just in time "Sorry, but cheap tricks don't work here!"

With a smirk, Raquel spun and delivered a powerful kick, launching Sakura to the ground.

"I expected more of a fight," she said, landing lightly on a branch. "Still want to go?"

Sakura snarled, drew another strand of hair, and forged it into a spear. She leapt upward, ready to strike again."Now you've done it!" Sakura exclaimed with annoyance, but still had a grin of excitement on her face.

Elsewhere...

Alex, Baraka, and Kinto were locked in combat against hordes of mechanical puppets.

Kinto sliced through three with a single swipe. "Where the hell are all these things coming from?!"

"I don't know," Alex muttered, charging energy in his daggers while slicing through everyone of the clones.

Baraka growled, his hammer glowing with rocky power. "I've had enough of this!"

He slammed the ground, shattering dozens of puppets with a single furious blow.
