"What a fucking shitshow," Anon grumbles as he locks his tablet and tosses it on the couch.
Anon jumped out of his seat and stomped over to his room. A few minutes later, he came out holding his laptop and put his phone to his ear.
"Doubtful. I don't think you understand the situation we are in right now. NO! You told me very clearly that there wouldn't be anything to worry about from your end, yet here we are." Anon hangs up the phone and places his laptop on my lap.
I stare at the screen, trying to comprehend what just happened. In front of me is a video call with Kista!
"I'm sorry, Jay," Kista spoke with a trace of guilt in his voice.
"Don't be. This isn't your fault. We were too complacent. We clearly have someone untrustworthy in our little group." I say softly as I notice that a few people are distracted by the news.
"How can you be so sure? Maybe King Lao managed to enter your room and placed listening devices everywhere," Kista asks, nervously.
