Chuck Chen frowned. "I already sent scouts. They reported nothing unusual."
"I see," Melina murmured, her cosmic eyes narrowing.
Monfei, watching her closely, suddenly smirked. "Let me guess—because you're a dragon, you can sense monsters too?"
Melina grinned, puffing out her chest. "Yep, I can!"
But in an instant, her playful demeanor vanished. Her expression hardened, pupils narrowing to slits.
"I know for certain that there would be a monster flood," she said. "If your scouts can't find any monsters… then be ready."
The air in the room grew heavy as the weight of her words settled over them.
"Because that means you're dealing with something far more dangerous," Melina finished coldly.
A shiver ran through everyone's spine as they took in a deep breath.
