"That was unnecessary," Alicia said coldly, walking beside me.
I glanced at her, feigning ignorance. "What was?"
She clenched her fists but didn't answer.
"Are you sulking?"

"You shouldn't be sulking for this much."
"I am not sulking," she snapped, furrowing her brows in irritation.
How easy it was to get a reaction out of her. Amusing, really.
A soft chuckle escaped me.

Changing the subject, I tilted my head slightly. "What do you think of Percy, by the way? Every girl seems to be swooning over him. I'm sure you feel at least a little attracted to him too."
"I'm not interested in him. Or anyone else."
Not now, at least. But once the Third Game began, there was a very real chance she'd end up falling for either Jayden or Lucius.
