CRACK
A cracking sound was heard as the draconic armor on Issei's body began to crack.
" It seems Asia succeeded in bringing him back, " Roxanne said with a smile as she put on her mask. With Issei's recovery, this place would be flooded with people. Especially Rias and Peerage, who are already running towards here at top speed.
The next second all the armour on Issei's body was broken, and his human body was revealed. His eyelids twitch as he slowly opened his eyes.
"Well, good morning, sleepyhead. You sure did quite a commotion with your rampage," Roxanne said as she helped the now conscious Asia stand up.
"Arrg, my head hurts like hell," Issei grumbled as he ignored Roxanne's teasing words. The strain of using the Juggernaut Drive was too much for him.
"Heh, as expected, Hyoudou, you are too weak to be a challenge." Vali, who couldn't keep his silence, said as he looked at the painful Issei with a smirk.
"Vali, you bastard!" Issei, who was holding his head, suddenly changed gears as he glared at Vali. If Vali provoked him even further, Issei would no doubt pick a fight with him.
Vali, who would never say no to a fight with Issei, began to provoke him even further, resulting in the two of them arguing like children.
"Sigh, you two, you should get a room," Bikou said as he shrugged his shoulders with a helpless smile.
Their leader seemed to act like a little kid when he always met with Issei.
" Don't even bother trying to stop them, Bikou. These two are just like their respective Dragon. A pair of little kids who would fight even for the smallest details " Roxanne couldn't help but add with a chuckle.
"Issei!" Suddenly there was a loud shout as everyone turned to look at Rias and the group, who were flying at full speed towards them.
When they came near Issei and the others, Rias didn't for a second before running and hugging Issei. She had tears in her eyes as she began to crush him to death with her melons of destruction.
Seeing Ria's actions Akeno and Asia also joined in on the fun. And for a while, Issei was living in hell and heaven at the same time.
"Damn, this reward wouldn't make Issei curious to use Juggernaut Drive again, right?" Roxanne asked as she grabbed Kuroka's tail.
This black cat was trying to sneak away since her sister was glaring holes at her.
"Nya, my tail, Nya!" Kuroka screamed in pain as she tried to free her innocent tail from Roxanne's hard grip. She was like a comedian trying many creative ways to get out.
Koneko, who was about to have the talk with her sister, stopped in her tracks and suddenly looked away. She did not want to speak to her sister when she was like all that. It was too humiliating.
As everyone was enjoying the good show of women's love fights, they all suddenly looked at the sky all at once.
"Oh, is she making an entrance? That's quite rare of her, " Roxanne said as she saw the sky crack and a huge red dragon come out of the crack.
"Woah, who the hell is that?" Issei asked in disbelief and a little bit of fear as he looked at the very large red dragon whose body was already occupying the whole underworld sky.
"No, it can't be him. Wasn't he supposed to stay at the dimensional gap? " Rias, who recognized the creature, said in disbelief. Unlike Issei, who was ignorant of the world, Rias knew who that being was.
" Opening your eyes, Issei Hyodou, that is the strongest being in the whole supernatural world, the true Red Dragon Emperor, the Dragon of Dreams, Great Red." Vali, who had his fighting spirit on full display, said excitedly.
How could he not be excited? His lifelong goal was just in front of him. As a child, Vali's goal was to become the strongest. And to be the strongest, one had to defeat the current strongest being.
"The strongest being," Issei muttered unconsciously. Then as if he suddenly realized something, he brought up his arm and said, " Hey Draig, I thought you were the Red Dragon Emperor. So why is there another person having the same title as you?"
" …" Draig chose his right to remain silent. He couldn't possibly say he took on that title on an impulse and didn't change it because he knew Great Red wouldn't be bothered to deal with him.
"Hey, Draig, you there, buddy? Hello." Issei, who didn't get any replies, asked as he tapped the green gem on his sacred gear repeatedly, trying to wake Draig.
Vali, seeing his rival acting like this for the tiniest moment, felt sorry for Draig. He had to endure having such a host who would stop at nothing to humiliate him.
While everyone was looking at Issei's antics, Roxanne was doing something important. She was busy collecting all the cracked pieces of Issei's armor. For a weaponsmith like her, these pieces are very valuable. Especially for her next project.
And she was also doing this to distract herself from the conversation Issei and the others were having. She was barely holding herself from laughing at the nonsense they were talking about.
Scarlet being the strongest was already old news. She had lost that title to her 5 years ago when they were fighting. And Roxanne had yet to lose a fight.
'Hmm, speaking of Scarlet, where is that girl? Don't tell me she went somewhere while letting that fake body of hers float in auto-pilot mode,' Roxanne thought as she used her senses to pick up on Scarlet's mana signature.
' Oh, it seems she is too busy with Ophis to care about the body, huh? Well, I should probably send that thing back so as not to cause any unnecessary panic,' Roxanne thought to herself as she used her hands to make a finger swiping motion.
In the sky, a huge crack opened again, allowing the huge dragon to return back to the dimensional gap. As the Ruler of the Void, creating a passageway like that is simple for Roxanne.
While doing so, she also gestured to Vali and his team to leave now. After all, on paper, they are still part of the Khoas Brigade. So if any Alliance member sees them, they are obligated to inform the higher-ups and try to arrest them.
So it would be very bad if they happened to meet with Sirzechs or others since they would do their best to capture them all. Especially Kuroka, who still has a very big bounty on her head.
And for the record, even Roxanne had a bounty on her head as she used her identity as Shaltier to massacre many corrupt council members and devil pillars. And when her identity as the daughter of Lucifer was revealed, there were signs of anyone canceling the bounty.
After Roxanne finished sending away team Vali she excused herself and flew towards where she picked up Ophis and Scarlet's presence. It is never a good idea to keep two dragons closer to each other for a long time without any supervision.
