She then looked at the cold ash around them, a worried expression on her face. "One more time, and I'll be down for a while. I'd rather stay awake and mobile."
Unlike most wizards, who were limited by their mana, spirits were limited by both their mana and the natural mana around them. A fire spirit like Amber could control the flames around them and bend them to her will. But doing such a thing puts a huge load on her mind, trying to overpower the will of the world on her own. It wasn't an easy thing to achieve.
