Beside a vast circular swimming pool, Anna, reclining on a lounger, gazed at the black leather book in her hand.
The text in the book looked twisted and evil, as if it were slightly wriggling.
"Gurgle gurgle." Small bubbles slowly emerged from the pool.
Anna glanced at the pool with a slight smile curling at the corners of her mouth.
"Whoosh—" A dark shadow leapt from the surface of the water and flew straight toward Anna, a massive green eyeball.
"Slap—" A tentacle that had extended from beneath Anna's skirt precisely struck the eyeball, sending it back.
"Gurgle gurgle." More bubbles emerged from beneath the water.
Another eyeball flew over, only to be struck back by Anna once more.
After several exchanges, more eyeballs filled the air, and more tentacles stretched out from Anna's body; the two were evenly matched.
But when the distant door opened and the Heike Clan entered, the noisy pool quickly returned to calm.
