Inside the safety house of the Governor of He Fang's mansion, Margaret clasped her hands to her chest as she listened to the continuous gunfire direction from the docks. With every blast outside, her body would tremble in response.
Her father and brother were battling there, and with every explosion, it was very possible that the blasts were happening over them.
"What can I do, what can I do right now to help them?" Margaret was so anxious she almost cried.
Karita, Margaret's mother sitting beside her, grabbed her daughter's hand and pulled her to sit down next to her.
"Don't worry, your father can handle this problem. We have to believe in him; he is one of the greatest Governors of He Fang Island after all."
"Mother, why is the Governor of British Island attacking us?"
Karita sighed deeply, "That's men's stuff; how would we know?"
As the two women anxiously waited, the sound of gunfire outside gradually subsided.
