Elevator? New World City? "Is this ghost talking about East Nod, the Hope Island that I took over?"
Inspecting the model of the ship's hull, Charles had reason to believe that the ship had sunk while the Foundation still existed.
If that were the case, then it also explained why the ghost asked such a question, it had been wandering the bottom of the sea for years, searching for that vanished city.
After quickly pondering, Charles slowly raised his hand and pointed the ghost in a completely opposite direction.
His eyes were fixed on the ghost's movements, guarding against any of its actions.
But unexpectedly, the ghost had no intention of attacking. It politely thanked him and then prepared to walk back to the cockpit to navigate.
"Did this thing really come to ask for directions?" Thousands of thoughts swirled in Charles's mind.
As he watched the ghost enter the cabin, Charles suddenly spoke. "What's it like on the surface now?"
