Chu Mingcheng could never have imagined that roasted lamb would attract two baby sea otters.
The fur on the two sea otters was wet, clearly indicating they had just come out of the sea.
However, their size was petite, suggesting they had been weaned not too long ago.
Sea otters are only weaned at six months, and then they learn to swim; before that, their mothers take care of them.
Most sea otters gather to live in groups, so why did these two babies suddenly appear here, and where was their mother?
"Ah Cheng, will they eat lamb?" Jiang Luoluo asked.
She felt the sea otters were attracted to the lamb and wouldn't mind sharing some if they could eat it.
While soothing the two dogs that seemed to have spotted prey, Chu Mingcheng explained.
"How could they eat lamb? The things they eat are things we'd feel reluctant to eat every day. They usually feed on sea urchins, abalones, crabs, shellfish like snails, and fish, among other things."
