Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 - The Other Side [Bit darker]

[????]

He, a supreme talent coming from his home dimension, had only one academy in his mind. One whose graduates became almost always beings commanding the power of uncountable magnitude.

A historical marvel which stood strong for uncountable amounts of years. Even the ancestors of his dimension had no concrete evidence of their foundation.

The entrance exams were but a breeze for him as he fulfilled almost every criteria near perfectly. He almost shook even the record, which stood tall for ten thousand years.

Whatever obstacles before him were cleared, the only thing remaining was the small test. The test was said to be very competitive and teachers used to pit talents of the same magnitude together.

However, corruption has the ability to crawl inside anything and everything. The Academy being no exception. From an institution where getting in was not only dictated by one's talent but also the ability to match foes of similar strength.

To a place wretched with inequality. The headmaster was said to be missing and with the vice-headmaster position changing every couple of thousand years, multiple top factions practically controlled this place.

'If I was like those fools, I'd probably be boycotting with them, hehe.' He chuckled to himself as the rivals of his dimension came to his mind.

Two dimensions battled through countless events in history were considered to be oddballs. Instead of vying for total supremacy, they just duked it out with each other. Some considered them as fools and some as eternal rivals or enemies...

Ah, everyone knew them for their hero versus demon king plays, which attracted attention from the multiverse at one point. A truly lucrative business...

Anyway, for him, the missing headmaster was perfect as his ancestors 'talked' to the teachers. In the end, he was supposed to be matched against a fool who had tried to enter the Academy for a long time.

The time for the examination quickly rolled by and he got himself ready. In no time, he found himself in another dimension and there he saw his opponent.

Like those teachers said. The one he was going to crush had no presence and looked like a fool.

"Oho, this is the first time in a while that the two potential students didn't tear each other apart as soon as they saw each other. Impressive control. Especially you, child." The old man said.

They were flattering, and he'd be proud if it wasn't for one fact. They were not targeted at him, but at the fool.

His body stiffened up as anger took over his mind for a brief second.

'Whatever, I'll crush this insect. It's your bad fate that you had met me.' He thought to himself as both of them were transported to a table with a chessboard.

He looked around and saw his target planet. Unbeknownst to the fool, it was much easier to attack instead of invade.

Time it gave them was pretty much abysmal to create proper troops and the invader just had to conquer a planet to utilise the already developed world.

Even the restraints he heard about had no real power over him, as he just had to invite a bunch of other powers. They could find a potential successor or establish a faith and he'd get a free war machine wreaking havoc in the enemy's world before he even appeared.

The thought of losing never occurred to him. Once his black king was placed down, a small grin appeared as his eyes shone and he lost consciousness.

...

He appeared in a world which had already been ravaged by war for millennia. To ensure his total success, the planet he was sent to was coincidentally the one his ancestors and those light fools battled on.

Humans, elves and dwarves versus various species of demons. Something he knew so well that he was able to dissect elves with his senses shut off.

At this moment, the war had been ongoing for quite some time and the alliance of 'light' had been winning thanks to a hero.

An opportune time for his rise. The moment he arrived on the planet and found himself right on the battlefield, he unleashed his power.

The pure mana he emitted had stopped the ongoing war. As if to respond, a light beam entered the skies, and he soon came to odds with a woman adorned in battle armour.

She had blonde hair and sky-blue eyes. Her beauty eclipsed her armour, which has been crafted by the finest dwarf blacksmith alive.

No words were exchanged as a sword which cut through the dark clouds descended on the dark figure.

He began laughing uncontrollably as he stopped the sword of light with just his pinkie.

"Oooh, that tickled. I like you. It's been a while since I tasted a slave from the light realm hehe." He said as he flicked the sword of light.

It turned to dust, which rained onto the battlefield. Its powerful property giving some vitality to the ravaged place.

Her expression turned into a shock as she stared at the monstrosity before her. Runes appeared on the armour and the normal-looking sword emitted an incredible soothing light.

A much more powerful piercing strike appeared and in a blink of an eye reached the demon. The ground cracked, and the winds contained the sound of the wailing planet as the powerful strike was too powerful.

At least too powerful for the small planet she was defending...

The power of her strike dwindled, and she looked at what had happened to the demon. Instead of the black mist now stood an incredibly devilish and handsome man.

His clothes represented a clear royal descent, as only a small tear could be seen on his chest.

"Now that was something. I will definitely enjoy your succulent flesh before I conquer this place." He said, as a sadistic smile appeared on his face.

Before she could say anything, the demon appeared before her eyes and grabbed her neck. In the next instant, her surrounding turned dark...

...

The entire tide of war changed in almost an instant with his arrival. Some called him the Demon King of Destruction, and some other nicknames.

However, his crowning achievement was the fight with the hero, which ended in his victory.

Since then, he assumed the leading position of the demons and without him even leaving his newly built castle, the three races were on their last breath.

Three or so months had passed by the system's estimate and he was already almost done with his little assignment before the war began.

In a throne room, he sat on a throne made out of the relics the three races used to defend against the demons in the past.

Next to him was a woman sitting on her knees. Her beautiful golden blond hair turned into raven hair.

"Now I just have to wait for that stupid period to end. I wonder how I should pass my time. Maybe I'll try out more succulent flesh. What do you think?" He said as he looked at her.

She revealed an ecstatic expression once she was noticed.

"Of course! No one can surpass your magnificence. My flesh alone is not worthy of you." She said. If anyone who knew her in the past could see her current state, they'd perhaps break down.

Unknown to them, their beacon of hope had not died. Instead, in turned into an obedient slave...

The conquest had further accelerated once she stepped onto the battlefield. Not as a hero, but as a servant with sick adoration for her master.

Her presence alone destroyed the alliance and soon the world was ruled by demons. Dwarves turned into slaves churning out technology.

Elves into entertainment and debauchery. If they were lucky, perhaps they were allowed to join the magical research department.

And humans became the filth and food. No being was spared from his influence as even the elves, known for their purity, soon began to explore the world of sins...

Sacrifices became common, and soon the entire planet turned into a war machine. Had anyone on Earth seen what was waiting in the store for them, they would crumble...

...

Months passed, and the system had prevented him from entering the planet Earth, much to his annoyance.

Even the power of his subordinates had to be low. Fortunately for him, the entertainment was bearable enough and he could wait for a few years.

After all, it was a low price for entering that academy. Months passed as he threw in the most useless trash he had in his hand.

His disdain and anger reached its peak when they weren't even able to establish a mere base.

This continued on for a few Waves as he realised that something wasn't right. He ordered two of his mid-level generals to see what was happening.

Both of them had a crystal ball which he could use to spy and see what was happening. To his astonishment, the entire army he sent out stood no chance.

Although surprised that the prior planet reached such a technological level, it wasn't something he hadn't seen.

Much to his amusement, a bunch of gods had already set their sights on Earth. He didn't think much about this situation and just waited as he sent out gradually stronger generals.

After all, losing one or two out of hundreds of thousands was not much for the current him. From his predictions, even if the technological level was high.

The upper ceiling would be low as his opponent had no knowledge or background which would be able to boost the aboriginals' strength.

At most, he would be able to afford some generic system. And if he dared to create his own? Then it would be even easier.

Yet years passed with no actual progress. He began to feel bored and annoyed as his toys were just too obedient and the passage was still not enough to enter.

With impatience building up deep within him, he contacted the Olympus. They were known for their great backstabbing and oftentimes played the role of 'good' guys when, in fact, they were like a bunch of hoodlums.

Before they arrived, he decided to stir the pot and touched the points he had been accumulating all this time. While not able to see the real time situation of the planet, he roughly knew where the deities were.

From what he'd seen, Amun's little scout had been making waves on one continent. Safe to say the odds of them having any real permanent power were zero.

Even he was not fully confident with killing that thing. Though her killing him was equally, if not more, impossible...

He looked around his shop as a bunch of dry options appeared before he stopped on one specific option.

"This might be fun." He said and grinned.

With the tap of the button, a bunch of space holes connecting the two planets kept appearing on the continent.

A now frontier had opened and this time it wouldn't be long before he could descend and end it all in one simple sweep.

The quiet war machine began to work on overload as warriors and cannon fodder were born in the millions growing up swiftly to serve their great king.

He stretched his body before he arrived near the only ocean this planet had. It was left untouched for quite some time as the idea of getting his suit wet disgusted him.

And his subordinates were too useless to deal with the threats underneath all of that pressure.

'Tsk, I let them be free for a bit too long. Perhaps they don't even know who I am.' He thought to himself as he teleported deep inside the ocean.

That day, tsunamis and earthquakes were happening the entire time, and part of the ocean turned red.

Two days later, he appeared with another exotic 'catch'.

Even the aquatic races stood no chance when faced with his whims. And now he had to wait as he occasionally sent out some of the fish to stir up the pot even more...
