Dr. Levine before we had left the wreckage of the Warband had through the navigation computer discovered we were within the very south of Requiem in the Federation borders, the coast that hugged the mountainous cliffs of the plains above "it would take centuries for you to climb up there Hyde" Dr Levine humored making me look at her with a light chuckle "what do you purpose Doctor?" I asked and she sighed dropping down from the box she sat on and walked to my hulking mass of metal and said simply "Hyde you dropped from there, you tell me" i looked up quickly and saw the jagged marks on the cliff wall my sword made, i followed the line up with my sensors to see the sideways tree i had originally stood on and the heavily dense jungle above that caked the top of the cliffs like a full head of thick messy hair forgotten to be maintained. I moved my attention to Corvine who was overlooking medical efforts while being repaired slowly by Gerald and a wounded Jackal who was getting frustrated with teaching Gerald how to weld the armor plating on Corvines right arm. I look back to Dr Levine and ask "do you think there is a way for us bigger ones to climb up while carrying everyone?" And she stood silent for a few moments thinking about what to say, she then examined my guantlets and boots for a few more moments before finally answering "its possible, i would have to do some tests but we dont have the luxury of resources Hyde" oddly the way Dr. Levine was talking and the way she wasnt being formal when speaking felt sickening in my head like i was meant to be seen with a title attached to my name. I ignored the feelings and nodded slowly. A few hours later the sun was beginning to go down, everyone went to sleep in makshift shelters as me and Corvine stood in place guarding until dawn. When dawn finally rose up we packed up what we could and finally left the wreckage, we carried wounded wrapped up on a rack on the back of Corvine as we travelled the coast the cliffs very slowly becoming shorter until we could see crevices in the walls that travelled up like ramps, me and corvine watched as the others climbed up slowly to the top and i look to corvine saying "we'll need to make the way wider for us" and he lets out a metallic groan before saying "what do you propose my friend?" I walk closer to the pathway and say "simple, we beat our way through" he steps to me saying "i dont follow" and i look back at him continuing "with our gauntlets and ill admit a few of your munitions we can break the walls enough to get through, the material we're made of are strong enough to sustain the beating otherwise why would we be made of it?" Corvine let out another metallic groan before sending his right power fist into the right side of the crevice entrance breaking a significant portion and sending it crumbling down, i laugh and begin working on the left side and we work our way until we very slowly make it to the top, as we do we can lift back up the wounded onto his back and make our way through the jungles till we saw in the distance an abandoned automobile garage which we stopped to rest in "set up a space for the wounded, Doctor" i said as i slammed my gauntlets into the space underneath the garage door and lifted it up with ease, Dr. Levine began working as Locust set up a vantage point on the roof, i held the garage door open as everyone except Corvine entered, he grabs the garage door with the top of his mechanical arm signaling that i can move and i do so causing him to let go and the garage door shut behind me, after everyone got set up in their respective areas for the night i had moved against the wall and slid down it onto my behind and remove my helmet putting it on my left knee guard while looking up, my head a small puppy compared to my monolithic armor which was shrouded by the darkness of the garage. My head began lightly hurting from exhaustion and i went into a deep sleep dreaming about the streets of St. Los wearing the clothing i had when i originally dropped, i walked down the street for what felt like an eternity with apartment buildings covering both my left and my right sides until i eventually saw the radio i had originally seen all that time ago but when i went to pick it up my body was frozen in place like i was completely paralyzed but could still move my eyes, i tried to move with all of my strength but i couldn't move a single muscle "do you honestly think your doing something good?" A strange voice echoed, i kept trying to move, kept trying to reach for the radio, to pick it up and call Locust for help thinking he was on the other end like so long ago, thinking hes just peeking through his scope again until i try to look in front of me and see Titans legs "your leading everyone you travel with to their deaths and you dont even know it, your a rabid dog who should have been put down" he went on, his voice sounded like it was miles away yet could be heard clear as day at the same time, i wanted to attack him, to take him down once and for all but still i was immobile and powerless to do anything. Titan walked close to me and as he looked like he was cocking the slide back on a pistol i woke up in a sweat back in the garage the sun just becoming visible over the horizone past the jungle.
