Chapter 4 - Project: Matrix Forge

Create a universal asset creation application game.

It has a simple bulletproof Stat and leveling system. As a crafter in a shop every week you take a big commission (auto-generated story). the big commission is a asset that can be ported to other games in both your and their style(art).

The Stat and leveling is purely for the stats that creations will have after production however production is done through a asset creation engine that will judge based off geometry, materials, technique, player Stats, difficulty level and cross-referencing both samples and previous personal player projects fitting to certain themes.

On easy difficulty the player may create low, medium, and high tier asset items once a week with no theme restrictions.

On medium difficulty in addition the player will be able to port the asset items out of the game for no profit and will be able to create even lower tier and higher tier items. And do the same for previous works of a lower difficulty.

On hard difficulty you gain true freedom and a signature. You will be able to craft at your own ability from the lowest gag items to the highest of divine creations and be able to sign and signature your creations and own and sell at will completely free of restraint.

With all the grading and personal stats of a crafter no single creation will be exactly alike.

The asset items will be able to be used for personal or corporate game creation or modding and only signed assets can be transferred for monetary value. Ideally it will be able to work with any type assigned pre-production such as 3d, 2d, or pixel games.

The game is ment as a side quest of creation to show the hard work and dedication of each item created to add value to each item and to open source a creation tool that will be both harsh and fair. Adding a personal touch that can be seen and felt by the players using the items and shared by every helping hand.

People like to assign stats and move on or have stats that balance with the game. But I believe with to much balance it is no longer a tight rope with a impactfull fall it's just a thin board lying on the floor with no fall. To afraid to have truly unique and unbalanced items or some moder will take a item and boost the stats to an unbelievable degree for someone's instant gratification. But in the end the item is just some item that shouldn't be like that normally some common ring or sword or gun but it has no uniqueness no flair no personal touch that will leave a lasting impression. No soul can be found in duplicate production and I don't care about profit I just wish people took some insane idea an ran across the rope into reality making others witness the brilliance of a crazy idea into a astounding creation.
