"What, what is coming?" Rune asked.
He looked over at Vara to question what was going on, but her expression wasn't good.
"The apex predator of the desert," she said.
In the desert territories of Albion, there existed an apex predator that even the mighty sand worms feared. The telling signs were rabid packs of sand sharks, or trees growing where they shouldn't.. Any warriors encountering a lone patch of forest in the barren sandscape where instructed to flee.
"A behemoth," Vara said. It was a basic name given to the creature do the the difficulty of characterized it by its features.
"Or more simply put--a sand whale."
Just then, something huge began to emerge from deep beneath the sand. It's body was like a mountain, and many tree grew on its back. With nine fins on each side of its body and a single long horn on its triangular shaped head, Rune could see why they didn't just call it a sand whale.
