"And that's the last person. I wonder how come these children experience so much trauma"

I waved at her and went outside at the same time I can hear her car coming near.
"Get in. We need to be there before 7. Loky will join us near Sanla."

I can see her smile. She knows me well enough to know that. We've been friends for more than 2 decades of our life. I like her more than friends but I don't want to disturb her. Suddenly I felt a searing pain near my neck. The pendant began to heat up. 'Hiss', I quickly yanked it and it went cold.
"Hades, what happened? Are you alright."
She must have heard me.

We ate silently because me clearly disturbed due to this pendant and her because of a certain case.
"Yeah I forgot to ask about your case. You seem to be stressed about that."

After we finished our lunch, we begun our travel. We put on the radio and listened to the music all along the way. About an hour later I begun feel sleepy and dozed off.
