Chen Anxin hung up the phone, took a bath, and had just changed clothes when she heard the doorbell ring.
She hurried over and, sure enough, saw Shen Shiyu standing at the door with a bag in his hand.
She stepped back a bit, "Come in."
Shen Shiyu changed his shoes and came in, glanced at her wet hair, and asked, "Just got back?"
Chen Anxin shook her head, casually lied, "I felt a bit sleepy when I got back, so I took a nap on the sofa."
Shen Shiyu hummed in response, carried the bag to the dining table, put it down, and said to her, "Dry your hair quickly and come eat something."
Chen Anxin had eaten all evening and wasn't hungry at all, she couldn't really explain why she had wanted Shen Shiyu to come over earlier, and now that he had come, she found herself a bit unsure of what to say.
She just nodded.
