"Great! That's straightforward!"
Zheng Baosen gave a thumbs-up, then picked up Wei Dongxu's wine glass, "Yang Ni, pour another one."
He seemed even more affectionate to Yang Ni than her ex-husband.
Yang Ni, who had been standing all along, poured another glass and then sat down.
She sat down on either side of Zheng Baosen, flanking him to his left and to his right.
"Serve the dishes!"
After giving instructions to the waiter, Zheng Baosen looked at the silent Yang Ni and the equally reticent Wei Dongxu, then smiled, "What's going on with you two? Not even greeting each other? Do you not recognize each other?"
"Baosen brother, you didn't tell me there would be someone else."
Wei Dongxu spoke up.
"Does it matter?"
Zheng Baosen spoke as if it was nothing, "It's said that it takes a hundred years of goodness to share the same boat, and a thousand to share the same pillow. I was happy when I attended your wedding, and you were both happy as well."
