Facing the pursuit of a True God, humanity's struggle was truly arduous.
The disparity in levels of Divinity was too great.
If ranged from low to high, the hierarchy would be divine creatures/Celestials, Demigods/Immortals, True Gods/True Immortals. The control and intensity of Divinity at each level were vast, with surges in powers as one ascended from Demigod to True God.
For example, with a Magical Skill of the same power, a Celestial would need to consume thousands of points of Divinity, while a Demigod might only need around a hundred to cast it. True Gods, even more outrageous, would not waste an ounce of Divinity, as their efficiency would be entirely converted.
This was the disparity in the intensity of Divinity. Therefore, it was basically impossible for Demigods to challenge True Gods in battle.
