"So, what was wrong with those people, old man Elvin?" Velten asked while Elvin was pouring tea for him.
"They are just a stupid group that the glory guild always sends here to try and get me to sell them my workshop and sign a contract with me to work with them"
"Although I declined their offer so many times, they never seemed to give up, but now that brother Austin intervened, I don't think I'm gonna see their faces for a long time"
"I see…" Velten said, stood up, and started walking and drinking the tea while looking around him. The place was big, but it was almost empty except for some normal shields and armors that were placed near the forge.
"How is work going? I only see some normal armors here," Velten asked curiously while heading toward the forging table.
"It's going well, although this place's population is descending because it's quite peaceful in this city, and not a lot of people want to risk their lives nowadays"
"Is that so?..." Velten said and lifted the hammer that was placed beside the table "Then, would you please teach me to become a blacksmith?"
"Huh?" Elvin was surprised to hear that. He thought Velten had the potential to become a strong sentinel after he saw his speed earlier, so why would he ask for something like that.
"Are you sure about that? It might take so long to just learn the basics…" Elvin said.
"Yes I am" Velten replied "I would eventually be in need of some items in the future, and I want to be the one who makes, just to make sure I get them the exact way I intend to"
Elvin stayed silent for a few moments with his arms folded while Velten was observing the hammer. When he looked into Velten's eyes, he saw that he was being serious, which made him certain of his answer.
"Okay then, you better not complain about how hard it's gonna be" Elvin stated.
Velten smiled and said "Good choice old man, I'll never let you down"
"Good, we'll start tomorrow then, how about another cup of tea for now"
"Thanks man, but I need to go now," Velten said and put the cup on the table "I have other things to do"
"Really? Then see you tomorrow"
"Yeah, see ya," Velten said and left the workplace, "I should continue with the daily quest now"

Later in the glory guild master room…
A fat man hit the desk with his fist and yelled furiously "What do you mean the mission failed again?"
"I'm sorry master Sito, but…"
"I don't need your apologies" The man got angrier and continued yelling to the point where the guards outside the room could hear him. "Now tell me what happened in detail"
"Well, while we were trying our best with that old man, a lad appeared and interrupted the conversation"
"And why didn't you kill that kid?"
"The leader ordered Eric to do it, but he couldn't land a single hit on that boy, even after he used his magic"
Sito stopped for a bit since that got him by surprise. He then grabbed his chin and thought "Eric isn't really a good assassin, but he is definitely capable enough of killing a normal kid"
"That doesn't explain why two people got fatally injured, though"
"About that, a man called Austin stepped in before the leader himself could attack that boy" The man stopped for a moment when he remembered what happened.
"At first, we thought he is just a normal man that wanted to show off, but the moment he unleashed his Aura, everyone was stunned by how strong it was"
"The leader made a foolish decision, and tried to attack him, but he couldn't eve–" The man raised his head to see Sito shivering. His eyes were wide open, and the fear was shown on his face as if he has just seen a ghost.
"Did you say… A-Austin?" Sito asked "What is that monster doing here? No, why is he even alive?"
"Are you okay, master?" The man asked worriedly after seeing Sito acting like that.
"Cancel this mission right now and never go back there ever again, we shouldn't get involved with that guy at all"
The man didn't know what to say because he was confused, so he just said "A-as you wish" and left the room.
Sito sat on his chair while holding his head and talked to the vice master that was standing beside him, "The association definitely told us that he died a long time ago, was they trying to hide him? But… why?"
"I genuinely don't know master" the man replied with a calm look.
The questions kept filling Sito's mind, then he remembered what the man told him about Velten and stopped for a moment "I wonder who is that kid he was talking about… if what he said is true, things might get out of control in the future"
"Especially that he appeared in that monster's area, which means that they could be working together"
"Pardon?"
"The boy might not be that strong right now, but to just think that he is at this level in his age, he surely will be dangerous if his powers continue to grow…"
"Xior, go and look for that kid and see how powerful he is, if he poses a threat, then get rid of him"
Xior kept silent for a moment then replied, "I'll start working right now". Xior wasn't a big fan of the idea of getting rid of Velten, but all he could do at that moment was to agree.
