Leor cursed at Evan, who only grinned back as he effortlessly destroyed the arrows flying toward him from behind with an energy burst.
"Don't worry, Leor. I'm saving you for last. You're the one who got me off Earth I, after all."
As Evan spoke, his flames retracted up to his shoulder, and seeing that, Leor instantly realized what was about to happen.
He activated his Authority of Momentum just as the flames surged back down into Evan's hand, blasting him backwards with a burst of fire.
But the shockwave barely carried him far before he forcibly halted his own momentum, stopping his movement instantly. Planting his feet back on the ground, he redirected all that energy into his spear and launched it straight for Evan's head.
Evan, mildly surprised, parried the spear and commented.
"That was good."
